Does Gem Dmg Conversion always comes before item conversion?
I´ve got 100% physical to fire conversion from quiver and bow. When equipping Lightning Arrow. I don´t do 100% fire damage. I guess, when I take Avatar of Fire, I will just get 75% fire damage, right ? So no 100% fire LA possible? Am I correct? |

All Conversion occurs at the same time. However, Conversion from Skills takes priority.
You have 50% Phys to Lightning Conversion from Lightning Arrow, and 100% Phys to Fire Conversion from outside sources. LA takes priority and works in full effect: 50% Phys to Lightning. 100% Phys to Fire is scaled down to fit the remainder of 50%. Adding in Avatar of Fire increases the Phys to Fire Conversion to no effect, and will Convert 50% of Lightning Damage to Fire, totaling 75% Fire Damage. Lightning Arrow can deal (essentially) pure Fire Damage through flat Damage bonuses. |

Hello,
I am currently playing with essence drain for the first time and found out that Delirium's dot damage (750 degen) stacks with ED's dot. I know that ED's dot damage scale with Spell damage, but will Delirium's dot damage scale with Spell damage when used with ED? Essence Drain's Wiki says: " Modifiers to Spell Damage apply to this skill's Damage Over Time modifier also affects other damage over time effects created by this skill, such as poison or ignite." I know that before Delirium came out, people used poison on Essence drain so they focused on spell damage in passive. But I am not sure if it also applies to Delirium's Dot damage. If it does not scale with spell damage, I am thinking of focusing more on Chaos damage than spell damage in passive. Thank you in advance! |

Hello
I have now made a templar with hierophant ascendency, here i have take the sanctuary of thought, this reduced mana cost of skills by 50% (and also when energy shield is at max, but ignore that part) With these 50% reduced mana cost, and the skill tree nodes that also give reduced mana cost i have then in total 101% reduced mana cost of skills. With all this, it was my hope that i could use multiple Fevered Mind (unique jewels) and so get a significant damage boost at the cost of taking some sub optimal mana nodes, accuracy and so on. But sadly when i do insert it, the mana cost comes back, as if my 101% is negated by the increased mana cost on the jewel. Is this the intended way for reduced mana cost to work? I had planned to be able to reserve 100% of my mana and use the fevered mind jewels, and so get a nice pretty cheap bonus. My thoughts are that since you can get jewels that give the 30% spell damage without the downside, then this way of using it isnt so broken, also considering the ascendency that is used for it, it shouldnt become horribly broken if that is the concern Looking forward to hearing what you think |

Increased and Reduced type modifiers have always been additive. Cost modifiers are no different.
