I want my gear fully optimized before I start doing 4/5 way battles - they just require so much investment that I want to get the best possible results. I can not report on this, yet.

My tooltip ED DPS in hideout with no flasks is 46.626 (this is the number given in the "offence" tab). The dps given by mousovering over the skill on the skillbar is 438.387. Not sure why they are different by almost an order of magnitude.

I thought about it, and is something I am considering. Honestly though, it makes me hesitant. Most builds shouldn't need an 8 ex 6L bow, with a 5.5 ex gem to be able to do average damage in high tier content. I feel I might be better off investing in another build than trying to prop this one up. The only thing keeping me going at this point is just the satisfying explosions as Contagion spreads through the initial Legion packs.

At this point this is just deviating from the guide entirely going that route. I honestly should have known better, when someone claims Uber Elder/Shaper in a build guide, but has not posted any video of them doing that content. That's on me though.

Your first 6 link should be your bow, period.

Make sure the skill is socketed in correct slot in your pob if you want accurate number of your essence drain dps in your pob.

Just wanted to say thanks for all that detail Fuzzy, helped me out a bunch..got a bow now and am doing much much better. Had to move some stuff around but happy I did it.

I'm doing the CI version of this build, and since it doesn't use eldritch battery, I'm having mana issues on bosses, does anyone have some solutions to this, except for a mana flask and clarity?

Your essence drain gem is only at level 18 btw.

This is a really good and fun build. Question @ Snowing, how are you running Malevolence, Grace, and your other aura. Or are you switching depending on the situation?

Not sure how to share my gear in chat line, but I'm basically running a few cheap uniques I either found myself or decided to buy with the 10-15chaos ive picked up so far, but nothing endgame. I just picked up my first exalted, at lvl 50, and I'm wondering what i should invest in first? Thanks :S

Do you think there is enough room in this build to reach those numbers which are need for a satisfied experience?

As you can see, my current gear is not bad at all ( still much room to improve) but i see no land on 3 faction battles. Only got 5 kills or so...

Thats why iam currently hardly considering to reroll to a build, which suits more into this aka some TS or cyclone build.

Buy a cheap hybrid ES/EV 6 link non-corrupted chest. You can find these by putting '1' in the evasion and es value, and '0' in the armor value, on poetrade. The colors on the sockets do not matter, because you can easily get 2b-2g-1r on that type of base with a few chromatics. Scour the chest and slam a shrieking essence of greed on it. Buy an empower 1 and use it as your 6th link. All of this should cost under 50 chaos total.


Next step would be to save up 6-7 ex and buy/craft the meta bows that everyone is using. If you do not know the mods you need on this bow, you can check out my character. This is prohibitively expensive, but it should be your first >1ex purchase, because it will be have the most impact on your DPS in terms of investment.
