I've never been a big fan of relying on block nor dodge chance to stay alive, to me it feels like this; "If i don't get hit which rarely happens i don't die. But if i get hit i die." Daggers are mainly used for the Whirling Blades which is stupidly strong for clear speed! Poison no longer procs of the DoT dmg but only from the initial hit which is super low as well as not being proliferated by Contagion. It used to be broken as F***, however back then Consuming Dark dagger was BiS which it is no anymore due to the balance changes. I am following the build and at level 74 PHC and I have 16k+ dps and 51% armour reduction. Really loving fast paced gameplay. I am wondering..Is it worth taking master of the arena plus life nodes around bravery and not taking hired killer cluster.. which is 3,5 life per node.. bravery has 3life per node but it also has eva/life nodes around and fury bolts nodes. If I leave out 2 frenzy duration nodes I have the same life and everything else + more eva/armour and a bit more projectile dmg. Mostly wondering about master of the arena node double dip? I am also using consuming dark which is really cheap and does help a bit on bosses.. and thinking of using vaal haste for fast spam of ED on bosses. Hey Ghazzy. I picked up a level 3 empower, but when I drop it in for my slower projectiles, my tooltip damage goes down by about 500. The Empower should be stronger with a tabula +1 before then they should be rather on par, so use Slower Proj for now! Amazingly, the tooltip is actually accurate when it comes to ED! I did the precise calculation in another thread. " When you have a lvl 21 ED, adding Empower 3 is a 23.1% DPS gain. Slower proj 20/20, on the other hand, is 29% MORE + 10% increased.
