GhazzyTV - THE Spectre Summoner [LOW & HIGH BUDGET VERSIONS]

If I decide to drop Arctic Armor, so I can have a spare slot for the zombies to have 4L on the +2 helm.
Apart from these gems: Raise Zombie, Minion Life, Fortify, which support gem do you suggest I should put to make them more offensive or defensive?

you DROPPED AA?

lol why?

i mean obviously because of the zombies ..... but man thats a not a particularly good idea

Zombies are funny in a sense that you either use no defensive gems to make them tanky or you use practically only defensive gems to make them tanky

this depends on what the goal of the zombie is and the level of investment on the tree to minions.

for example if you got every minion regen node , got every minion life node . got every minion leech node then honestly empower minion damage poison all the freaking way.

but if you didnt get all the regen, if you skimped on minion life, if you didnt bother with minion leech. your zombies are kind of screwed either way. That is where you see people using fortify...

dont know about minion life tho, frankly i have always seen it as a waste of a gem slot since all it is ... is 6 passive nodes of investment.

Zombies don't need more links. Minion life is mostly a wasted support gem on zombies these days but it does a little, minion resist is getting sorted via Commander of Darkness & PoF, so minion/totem resist support gem is wasted. Only thing good is the Fortify we are already using.

Dropping Arctic Armour is not something I'd recommend unless you are tweaking the build to fit any other aura that would benefit you in some other way.

@bobosayhello;
Like saltychipmunk is saying, if you have little or no investment in minion defensive stats on the tree we "have" to use Fortify to make them tanky. If we have heavy investment on minion defensive stats then we can make them however we want or not give a shit about them, they might die but it will be rare. This is also why the Montegruls grasp unique is complete shit.

Due to the heavy focus of spectres for map clearing the only offensive decent approach for zombies if you now really really really want to push that out, would be anything that ups their dmg and use Poison. (Poison > Minion Damage > Empower > Multistrike > Melee Phys).

Would you consider these better than the knitted horrors? I just died to pale council (shocked ground 1 hit k.o.) I probably went in a bit too early. Oh well. Anyway, had some questions. The first of which is above. The second is that I could never get a 6 link, which may or may not have resulted in my demise. Would using a Tabula 6l with 3 specters be better until I cobble together a 6 link? And lastly, lets say I usually average out around 4,000 hp without the 6 5% hp nodes toward the bottom, I was saving those for a bit later, would have only given me around 4-500 hp. Anyway, at that point, I am finding that I end up somewhere around 4k hp and almost 3k ES with discipline active. The MoM calculator says I lose some of my eHp. Should I just ignore that and go for it anyway?

Better is a question of personal taste, they are certainly the most effecient. However, Knitted Horrors has their perks specially in open world maps.

5L Vis Mortis > Tabula (You get +1 spectre which is better than a more multiplier).

You don't lose eHP for having "too much ES" it is merely putting up a safety to maintain full effeciency from MoM :)
The calculator should show you how much ES(EB) you need to fully utilize it.

To easier calculate how much eHP you have, you take your life pool and multiply by 1.43 = eHP. (As long as your mana/es(eb) is covering.

5k is better than 4k hp therefore get 5k hp . get as close as you can. and when you run out of life nodes , upgrade your gear

After this I will begin a HUGE testing on every god damn spectre available in the game, this will be done via my stream and anyone who has any suggestions of what spectres to try will be brought to light to be tested. This of course includes Blade Vortex minions :)

Hello Ghazzy !

I have a similar build, only differences being that I am using Mon'tregul's Grasp, Vis Mortis, Prism Guardian and Bones of Ullr. I also don't use MoM and EB (yet). But I'm only 76 so there is room for it ^^

I tried to find that archive of yours streaming spectres testing but I only found one where you use Evengelists for one map then immediately go back to Horrors for six hours.

Did you ever streamed more spectres testing ? Like the new Blade Vortex dudes or some others ?

Thanks for the build, tips, and for being awesome man !

We never went to do them in practise as I got all the info I needed from poe datamining, we talked about it and I went through all the pros and cons and it all resulted in Flame Sentinels, Knitted Horrors as well as Undying Evangelists being the top choices. On secondary slot we got Stygian Revenants, Pocked Lanternbearer & last but not least the BV guys. The problem is the limitations in how we can scale them, which is doable via poison to doubledip minion damage for the BV guys, main problem is that they are limited to 5 Blades active which means they will reach a cap of how many vortexes are spinning. On top of the fact that they are rather squishy minions which are going to be in melee range causing them to be a risk to use in terms of effeciency.

Glad you like it bro! :)
