I don't understand how you got 98%, unless you can somehow tap into the es as a secondary mana pool, effectively giving you 200% mana to reserve, which would be rather strong imo. Am I missing any reserved mana nodes or equipment you have?

I understand being able to reserve all your mana since your es is a substitude anyway, but I don't understand how you can reserve 110% of your mana.


Edit: realised i'm an idiot, and discipline reserves 35% of your mana, not 50. I always thought it was the es component to grace and determination, so it reserves 50% mana like those 2 auras. My bad :(

Unless you wish to approach the build in a different way, yes it is the absolute best choice. It allows you to buy/use items on your other slots that has less resistances (or fewer) to allow for a Strength roll to further push your life pool up.
My character is a perfect example as you can see under the current gear spoiler most my pieces has strength on them and it provides me with way over 8000 eHP (Use the MoM eHP Calculator listed under the YouTube video!)

In one of the ring slots? It might be handy to bump purity of fire up to 5% max resist, and the remaining 25+35% ends up at 84% reserved instead of 98%. trade-off is losing the actual stats on unset which could be substantial and the excess mana would be dead weight?

Could be used to run a 50% aura in ring and 2x 35% auras though I guess if that worked with build :p

It would be counterproductive to the max with this build.
You'd lose all the defensive stats from the ring and not to mention the socket for a gem which almost all summoner builds are struggling with (socket starvation).

On top of this you'd only get slightly less reserved mana which doesn't matter as your source of mana for your spells as well as defensive layer for the MoM is via ES from EB.

So my take on the ring for this specific build is that it is extremely counterproductive.

Both works great, I just feel that Purity of Fire makes me completely able to ignore elemental reflect enemies when it comes to my Flame Sentinels survival. It is also a prefered choice when aiming to kill Atziri.

I will later this week release a youtube video showing how to kill Atziri with a 20c budget using this build :)

A 4L Vis Mortis is enough to slay atziri? Because i'm sure that a 5L is more than 20c. Unless you get lucky fusing maybe

Vis Mortis is mainly used for mapping, it can be used vs atziri as well but has a higher budget.

The version I'll show a video tutorial for later this week will be perfectly fine using a Tabula Rasa which is like 15-20c (Auromvorax roughly 1c and rest of the gear can pretty much be 0.5c pieces and/or selffound).
You only want to have 1 spectre available when running atziri with this approach so you're also speccing out of the additional spectre node.

Ah I see, that makes it easier, I do have a spare tabula in my stash that I got from the fat guy.
