After revision current % increased critical damage items like legacy crit increased multiplier amulets will have 33% less effectiveness on players. Which means that if you use a 70% inc crit multiplier amulet you lose 23% multi and end up being 46% instead of 70.

The same with mirrored items.

With an item using the new mod, if you use a 30% additional multiplier you only see +30 on spreadsheet rather than 45 for exemple if it was increased.


It's possible for exemple to divine some stated unique items to make them use the new % additive value so the 33% less wont apply. But you cannot do this with rare items.

I'm ok with the change, i only lose around 34 crit multiplier from wand and amulet. Aint like crit multi didnt need some sort of nerf anyways.

Leg crit multi is still better than non leg crit multi on jewelry so how is this rip?

Depend on the new max values, if it's the same or higher as the legacy multi there is no reason to buy those anymore.

There are no new t1 crit multi values for rare items mentioned in the patch notes. Thats only for specific uniques like abyssus. New amulets with 38% multi will still be worse than leg amulets with 70% multi. Although the power gap between the two has been closed a bit by how the formula works, leg amulets are still much better.





This is what stings a bit as it will have a new higher implicit mod but meh you win some you loose some.
