Winterheart, Event 45: Arctic Boss Kill

Btw do they ever remove "Remove only" tabs from Void league? Judging by my profile I still have remove only tab in void league from 2 seasons ago (obviously I can't clear it myself, because there is no way to enter the game with character in void league). I assume would make more sense to remove stash from void races instead of moving it to void league.

Got a Possesed Kole while I was heading towards Piety. I'm not sure which ghost it was, since I was running for my life rather than hovering over him, but HE KEPT UP WITH 50% move speed from boots + quicksilver.
I managed to make it to the waypoint, only because I had had the forsight/luck to roll my quicksilver as freeze/chill removal and *IMMUNITY*. That was clearly my most important piece of gear. Despite finding several uniques, none of them matched my build.
The cold damage from the roaming no-go areas was initially low enough to overcome with a measly coral amulet, later it became strong enough to outpace a level relevent life flask and 1.4% regen at max cold resist.

I think my most vital moments of actual play time were when I accidentally ended up in a dead end (very nearly literal dead ends), and had to run back through arctic sections past a bunch of trash mobs I had previously ignored.
This however was not the only situation I nearly died in. LOAD SCREENS almost killed me, since I was taking damage before I could see the area :(

It was an enjoyable race, very tense. Nice amounts of gear available, if you were willing to spend time/currency on the strongboxes. I'm not sure if it was a very clever idea, but i was opening nearly every rare box, only ignoring ones with more than two potentially dangerous mods.
At times I was legging it through areas just to keep pace, since I wanted to finish before i had to go to sleep. (Work pattern meant I worked for the beginning and end of the race, and had to eat, race and sleep between my two shifts.


I'm really hoping this mix-up with the points being unawarded is not going to put GGG off from making more of these (or similar) in future race seasons.

I logged on, almost deleted my char, then I looked at my race points, then looked here, glad its not just me missing points. Guess I'm leaving my char for now

Got my 6 points for #2 ranger but not the 100 for malachai kill, haha. I'm sure GGG will fix it up on monday.

I deleted today several hours after the end of the event thinking it wouldn't be an issue. Came here and see the points didn't get credited yet...

ya whats up with that :(
i was looking at my season tab today expecting to see points and nothing. which was confirmed when i looked in the race events log seeing the race never posted to my account.

i logged in and the character has already been sent void. normally that should mean i have my points already. what is going on?
