Winterheart, Event 45: Arctic Boss Kill

Very nice, just killed Piety, stuff was working. Then let's go for Dominus right? Good life, max resistances, mobility check, ok damage. Let's go! Just Ebony Racks WP and then on to Imperial Gardens. But wait....it's taking too long....OH NO! NOO! NOOOOOOOOO!!!

Yeah, I died during loading screen for the ice clouds.

I agree. Even though I felt that the damage in the end was stupidly high me and my friend really enjoyed this race. But this race just shows how much they nerfed malachai - Kaom is way more challenging than malachai in every race now.

Do you have to kill malacahi to get the points? or do you get the points you have acumulated up til you ripped?

This one. As long as you do not delete your character until the points are aware awarded you will receive the points for all the bosses you killed up until the you died/stopped.

I'm still going through on my second character but am taking a break.

So god-damn tedious.

The ice clouds spawning on top of you, in tunnels, with 10% move speed boots is just a pain in the ass.

Even now, I'm in the fairly open area of the Docks and there are ice clouds on top of ice clouds with no way to avoid them so I'm running around like an erratic pin-ball and spamming pots because my life is going down constantly.

To paraphrase one of the great modern philosophers of our time:

Playing this race is like masturbating with a cheese grater: Slightly interesting, but mostly painful.

Well hello there...

I am sorry but i couldn't enjoy this event at all because for one solo very slow Being melee,And second while it was an idea the ice clouds were just too annoying yea i get it you take more damage in later acts but come on realy a slow plus take damage i can understand how some might think of this and go wow fun. but i just couldn't take it any longer i got some good points for the time spent, If they had made the aoe on the clouds a bit larger but have fewer of them i would be immensely more satisfied with this event but when 13 of them are out at once just no.
