What I learnt this race as Ranger:
Don't go Predictive mode. If RNG loves you, he'll make Kole smash you in one slap. If you are Ranger, don't go Caustic Arrow. No +1 bow and no Void Manipulation/some gems from Siosa's quest. Feels too slow and bad :C; I should have definitely gone anything else but Caustic Arrow. Maybe using it for the extra chaos damage in bosses and in some packs earlier on. RoA + CA seems pretty fine, maybe. I liked this race, tho <3 |

Hot tip for new racers: DO NOT delete your character till AFTER you have confirmed that your race points have been allocated to your account. If you do so before hand, you'll miss out entirely.

that was fun, although i specced for EK then saw that i had nothing but elemental skills. :P did fairly well i guess despite that.

Well, grinding Docks got me rank 115 (was rank 119 when I checked right after the race, guess GGG banned some cheaters immediately after the race?), so I guess it's an okay strategy if you want the upper middle tier of point rewards. Firestorm Scion is pretty solid.

" ya this one bothered me as well. mostly from the standpoint of it forced me into a "trapper" shadow which i have no earthly clue on how to play. which of course i have zero currency to buy my usual gems AND starting at act 3 where the gems are already leveled means i had no way to pick the gems i normally use. i normally run frost blades by the way. the whole trapper setup felt wonky to me since i dont usually play it. |
