Damage is great, but the Contagion bad cast speed is something that I'm trying to avoid.

Changed the sockets so contagion goes with the codt, and the 4l is abyssal cry, poison, increased aoe and blood magic.

Have you tried that? I feel that it boosts the clear speed, as I only use contagion on some blue packs.

You can say the same about Abyssal Cry's cooldown.

Also, Contagion's infection is really a core in this buid, helps yo to just run forward watching ur enemies die around you. Poison is strong, but far from being as strong as ED's dot.

alpha for reduced mana reserved -> doedre damning to use the 3rd curse after having alpha -> bino.

Hey MC. Played your other build and had a ton of fun with it. Got to lvl 92 and wanted to try something new so I'm playing this now. I'm currently lvl 65.

Was just wondering if running the 3rd curse Vulnerabiity is really worth it. We take quite a few extra nodes for extra mana, less mana reserved, etc to be able to run a 3rd curse. Could add another proper ring without Doedre's also if we kept the skill tree +1 curse. Is it really THAT strong? I haven't fully explored the tree for other options but it seems those points could go somewhere else useful and just run the 2 defensive curse auras.

Curious on your thoughts.

this is my shadow variation for the build

but instead of 3rd curse I run Arctic Armor (extra protection vs physical).
Wondering about specing into Scion hp tree (and so on - to take Exceptional Performance), but I would lose spell dmg, cast speed and radius.
Tell me what you think. ^^

I assume you can run the Abyssal Cry as tri-combo on shield:

Abyssal Cry - Void Manipulation - Increased AoE

And make the Wither 4L (add Increased AoE).

OR

Add Blood Magic gem to Abyssal Cry's links and keep it 4L.

Yeah, you're totally right. Bought some other armor based boots to run a IC setup now.

Btw Item Rarity does work on Contagion but the enemies have to die from it, which is pretty unrealistic I think. Not really worth it.

Another question: How does Area Damage affect us? Is there a reason you didn't pick up Blast Radius?

@projectsix - check out page 5, we had this discussion already, and I explained why I think vuln is best. Short story: its multipicative and additive, and we mostly DoT based [contagion, ED, Poison].

@Purexec - Area damage DOESN'T do anything for us [this was answered by GGG].
Therefore, a useless stat that we don't need.

Hey MC, great build, having a lot of fun with it in Talisman league.

What are your thoughts on Daresso's Defiance or Belly of the Beast? I don't have any currency right now but I did manage to drop both of those chests. Is either one any good, or should I stick with a crappy life + res eva/es chest?
