Agreed.

I agree that whomever at GGG can copy and paste the race templates for all the races, but then spend a little more time going through each race and copy and paste the small bit of mod info at the bottom of each race template like Manocean mentioned. There are a lot of the same race, so shouldn't take a huge amount of time. Having the mod info on each race helps new and old players alike with ease of mind.

I do agree that if you have the page favorited with the season race and mod info that is perfect! For new racers they might not spend as much time to review past posts and find the info. I thought the main idea was for more players (including brand new) to join racing seasons, so anything that can help should be done.


More players = more people playing = higher chance at them spending $$$ on the game. WIN WIN!





P.S. I have been racing since Season 9, and have done almost every race for the past few. I have read every race's forum page for each season 9 to current, so I have seen the good and the parts that need some help. Having more info may to some feel cluttered, but I would rather have more info that help me understand the specific race than not. Not having it means you have to search for it, which to me feels cluttered/disconnected. Not everyone can be happy with a solution, so in the end if it stays like it is I am fine. I think though it would help all that do take the time to race and review the forum.

I would like to have the description in the announcement as well. Like it's voided: not gonna play. I just know I'll drop something that I would want to keep!

Naahhh... Again these whinies about void league. This race is so fun. Only funnier is Exiles Everywhere. I'm gonna participate no matter what.

I'd love to have the defining mod of the event listed. It would be great for newer players to know what each event is all about. :)

Ehh, it was a guess as to why it was done that way, I don't know if I am right or not. All the information is provided on the separate paged linked in the announcement. I am a fan of consolidated reference sources, so the current system has never bothered me.

It just comes down to matter of opinion like Snapfire said. There are obvious and clearly marked reference sources from GGG, and the community, but if they decide it would be better in the announcement then it might be changed.

i regret not buying sweep. 1-shotting rares with cleave is pretty satisfying though.
