@ptoop84 - all you need for flame surge to COMPLETELY destroy is the Fire Penetration gem instead of Cold to Fire.

Why would u want to use a chest that makes u take twice spell damage when on low mana (which is mostly ur case) in favor of some more damage?
You have no life on this chest, and only ES which isn't really something we care about.
You also get +1 to socketed fire gems while the Flame Surge is on your weapon, make it a useless stat.

This chest doesn't belong to our build.


@Dravel60 - it also has high evasion + 30% movement speed [which helps alot to warp faster and clear faster].

This boots are very good, as long as u can cap ur resistences.

@cptshadypoe - need to see ur gear aswell.

Awesome one! Still digesting the whole build guide. What can you say for a witch who uses dual-wand who wants to use your build then?

@cptshadypoe - you gear is overall fine .
Your dps will be boosted nicely once all your gems will be 20/20 and when u get some more levels to get more crit nodes. Keep up the good work, your DPS isn't low and I can imagine that you rape maps easily.

@chad57 - With Pledge of Hands you get 2 important things:
1. you run Ice Nova with 7 Links (since Spell Echo is built-in on staff)
2. You solve your mana issues by having double mana pool (100% more mana from staff).

This two things shouldn't be given up in favor of maybe a bit more DPS from dual wielding.

Also, remember that we want to run a dual curse body (6-5L already).
Without a 6L pledge, you are forced to give up either the LW-curse setup, or downgrade your ice nova links.
Paper DPS with 6L body having the ice nova, and 2x BiS wants is higher, but don't forget the use of our double curse/shock. You want to think about effective DPS, not just the numbers on paper.

I don't know how old the tree is that's on front page but I don't agree with skipping 2 jewel sockets or the frenzy charges to get bad points like throatseeker considering you can get more crit multi on a single jewel than that whole cluster gives you.

Multiplier is superior to Chance.
EXTREMELY rare [if at all] to find or buy a jewel with 36% crit multiplier.
yes, u can get a jewel with like 25-28 crit multi and 10-12% crit chance, and yet 36% multi is superior, and is via tree without wasting lot of time on poe trade finding a jewel that beats this node.

But you can tweak the tree as u wish :-)

Maximum on multi crit for jewel is 32%. (10% spell, 10% elemental, 12% cold) Then you have 1 more prefix of crit chance (18%), cast speed (5%) or spell damage (16%).
So yes, if you find a very very good jewel it will have 33% more crit multi per skill point spent with a few extra % spell damage/speed/crit chance, but until you can find one, throatseeker is an excellent choice to spend points on.

Extra frenzy charge: Not worth it. Better to get more jewel sockets. Even a cheap jewel will be better than spending so many points to get 1 frenzy charge that won't work on higher bosses.

If you prefer some other stats from jewels though, then best of luck!

I would use the 18/20 so you can work towards it being 20/20.
Choose the option that gives more DPS, or easier onslaught/innervate if you are lacking that right now.
