[2.1] SuperNova - 200k+ AoE dps ! Insane clear speed - Super fun - Atziri viable | Featured by GGG!

Around what level is a good point to switch to this build? I notice some of the gear requires level 72, so is it best to switch once you are into the 70's or earlier?

Hey I'm following this build atm and I was wondering how u got the aoe radius to cover the whole screen in ur video. I have all the increased radius nodes + carcass jack and have a 5l pledge with the same gems minus empower and my aoe is tiny.

Remove Concentrated Effect, add Increase area of effect, you gonna hit the whole screen, its the only way.

I suppose so. I'm also using life leech instead of added cold damage so does that drop dps by a lot? I'm not sure how the damage from the gem scales but it says "adds 54 to 81 cold damage" that can't be much right?

@ptoop please answer only if u're sure about ur answer :p I do not use inc.aoe gem.

@godpenguin 1 - Quality on Ice Nova increases its AoE range. besides that, I have exactly same AoE as yours. Also, the Herald of Ice effect cause explosions that can reach monsters that are far from you, which helps alot in fast clearing maps.

@Hawkeh, thats wrong - the level requirment on items equals the gem's highest level so sometimes its misleading.
for exampe, if Ice Nova gem level 20 requires level 72, and you use it on item that requires level 50, it will show that this item requires level 72.
You can change to this build any time.

@Rayzabladez - thats wrong. All our gems except CWDT + IC should be maxed out.

CTF gives around 9k dps at lvl 20 and 20 quality, so thats alot, you dont need life leech. if ur lvling just use increase area of effect and drop concentrated effect, your clear speed will be 200% faster.
CE makes sense only for T13+ maps, and bosses.

I know CTF gives a lot of dps i tried taking it off and lost heaps of dps. But I'm asking about the green gem "added cold damage". And yeah I put on iAOE and the clear speed wasnt really different. Although I'm only doing low tier maps atm for lvling.

Added cold damage is very important.

Aside from elemental reflect maps, you don't need Life Leech gem at all.

it gives 4.5k dps for me, the sweet boost comes with the gems with +20 quality, added cold damage gets +10% cold damage extra.
