So I played a bit more, got to level 74 adding a few life nodes and replaced some gear, I'm up to 2.5k life/348es and 18.7k ice nova dps in town.

I still feel weak in maps above 70, I'm not sure why my health is so low. Here's my updated gear and skill tree:

@RinoaDH, hey.
We again fire damage from Cold to Fire gem. it adds fire damage to our Ice Nova (and Flame Surge of course) and this is what ignites our enemies.

As for the evason, We are relatively tanky and the evasion can help us in maintaining our HP easier. When you warp inside pack -> they attack you while you leech, and they miss some of the attacks - it helps us to bring our HP to full more easily (by the way, we are evasion based but we have nice block aswell from Acrobatics and the Atziri's step boots).

You should next buy high HP bots [70+], rings with more life [even craftable life can be over 40], helmet with 80+ hp (preferebly 90+).
Get Atziri's Step boots when you can for additional block.

I haven't played Shock Nova so I didn't test anything.
You could possibly try to the same gem setup, and take Added Lightnign Damage isntead of Added Cold Damage.

I looked at this build a long time ago and thought it looked cool but never got round to trying it. My last main gpt nuked by the nerf bat though so maybe ill give it a go now that said I looked at your tree and the amount of life looks crazy low what kind of deeps do you think I could expect if I went for 155% life or so? Which I would think of as the bare minimum needed to have any kind of survivability Im guessing this wont freeze bosses especially if you go c2f? Looking to the future what do you think about going shadow to get sweet ceit subclass come acendancy? It would let us drop some crit chance for life and would still prob be a net gain (Im talking about the .5% base crit/charge)

I believe in some builds DPS' importance comes first and not HP. This is one of this builds when you wanna nuke things down before they even notice you're there.

Ofcourse you can drop some dps and get more HP. even 100-120K dps Ice Nova is insane.

It's just MY OWN personal prespective of how this build should be built and you can twist and modify it the way you wish. I might make a 'More Life' passive tree at some point.

Shadw always been the alternative for Witch when it comes to playing this build.
However, I haven't seen much of the Ascendency content [I know about the classes tho] so I can't comment on that yet.

I couldn't handle maps with my current gear so I swapped in arc for the time being. The tree is very similar so I can and will swap back later. (talisman)


But a poor man tip:
Use Diamond Flasks, up to 33% crit chance. You will have a much higher chance to freeze and a nice dps boost since we have a high crit multi. I run 2 of these babys and it's awesome.

I'm also using Vaal Summon Skeletons as a "taunt" for bosse and it works wonder. Should cost ~1 fuse in talisman.


@tsachiy1 Maybe think about to swap Throatseeker(also a jewel) for Smashing Strikes(also a 5% life node).

It's always better if you have a bad jewel and in your case with a good jewel it's still:
30% increased crit chance and 5% life but 28% reduced crit multi.

You can get a 10% crit multi node near Doom Cast for the last point but I would prefer the life.

PLanning on getting Cjack 5L.
But the problem I have, is that I dunno what stats I should get in priority : crit chance ? multi ? + mana ? %mana implicit on new talisman ?
I dunno what the priority stats on my rings/amulet.
I know its critchance+multi+life. But what about 2nd stat ? Mana ? evasion ? % mana ? mana regen ?

When i see your stuff, u have everything needed : ) but it doesnt exist in talisman league atm
