Bloodgrip, Event 76: 1 Hr Endless Ledge

Endless Ledge sucks. It's an RNG fest. Haste aura + cannot die aura = GG. Stupid race.

Not a too bad RnG for this race .. but ... 1 Grappler ... oneshot .. hug

Never had either of these drop in an EL race. Too bad I didn't roll caster.

no second qs or ms, and got killed by powerfull crit chaos snake while changing ring ;_;

My run is a perfect example how shit this race is. Died 3 mins in (blood sacrifice you know) and then....

Why is it there aren't occasional chests with a flask or two? I had small health flasks until level 12... There's a lot of time wasted as melee when you're having to retreat all the time just to regen.

I managed to get 5th Duelist, but regardless, if everyone had flasks at certain times of progression (like every other boss) people wouldn't detest this event. There's a sort of saying where good racers don't always have to rely on RNG because they can make their RNG work for them (vendors, item knowledge). But damn, that takes a long time to learn.

And hoping that RNGesus comes through with a flask or two every now and then (on TOP of all the other random factors especially mobs) only makes things a little more exciting the first time around, and never again. I understand the RNG of every other factor in the race, because it's PoE and I love any game with hardcore RNG systems. I understand the Jade ammy's, the Quicksilvers, the MS boots in other races. But health and mana flasks when there's no vendor? Seriously?

I feel like GGG is either 1) lazy or 2) passive aggressive by taking away a core mechanic like that from both experienced and new players. I certainly wouldn't bother getting into racing if I were brand new to the game and encountered something as troll as the way this race is set up right now.

Do you really think you're bringing new people into the racing scene? Or were you even thinking?

Enlighten me rank 279.

I'm not talking about simple "RNG" there's a lot of "top" players that don't finish at the top of every endless ledge race because of flask drops. Because they usually die or quit early if flask drops aren't going well. I know of a few top racers that drop any type of race early, so of course you don't see them under-performing because they <delete character>. You could have just said TLDR ;)
