I know its not a bug.
I know it works as intended, and why it works like this.
And you know what, it simply sux.

whoa, time to step back

now it run straight forward

did it miss something backwards?


concept of movement skill should be changed. the skills should be pleasant to use, predictable and consistent in any in-game situation.

i think it could be fixed by simply making camera to move to destination instead of blinking there, in that way your cursor wont appear behind character after the warp.
I've got yet another 'not-a-bug' 'WTH' experience:

nope. too difficult. have to click 20 times to finally find the 'hole' to warp through.

Seriously. whats wrong with this skill?

Isn't mismatched animation worst thing aRPG can have?

As it is painfully slow, even with two movement support gems.

Whirling Blades is far superior.

Something seems wrong with this skill. using faster casting AND less duration, seems to do ZERO to how slow this spell is.

Did something change? And if so, what works with the skill now?
The skill needs deep rework.
Since you've 'fixed' missing animation in lockstep mode skill description mismatch actual skill mechanics.

97.5% reduced duration, 47% movement speed, 235% cast speed Lightning Warp

It's not nearly as fast as it should be:




skill tooltip cast time is 0.3 but full warp animation takes 52 frames at 60 fps recording mode.

warp animation needs rework.
internal cooldown duct tape -like solution should be gone.

I can't convince my lightning warp mines to target bosses like Kitava and Arakaali who don't have a normal footprint on usable ground. I realise this kind-of makes sense, but it's also super annoying so I wanted to check it's intentional.
