Final 0.9.4 Patch Notes

Just level up an Ice Wall and a Minion gem. Loss of fending and the ES shield change won't hurt as much as you think. Fireball explosions can be made wide enough to splash over Ice Wall to make a few corpses, once Zombies start tanking, it's back to easy mode.

The only true nerf is inability to stack together both Elemental Weakness and Critical Weakness as this is the only thing we cannot really compensate for just yet.

A call for less bias, immaturity, and rage is a tall order from someone who pretty much insults anyone and everyone who disagrees with GGG on something.

It seems you're the one being short-sighted. GGG will add a skill that gives power charges. Power charges will once again be extremely valuable for witches. Give them time to add their content to fix it instead of complaining that it's hard to get right now. They want you to be able to use these charges, but it's just not there yet. Removing them from the tree because one skill isn't available yet would just be silly, and a lot of needless work.

You're speaking as if this were the released version of the game.

This

Added the ability to manually level a skill gem up. They don't level up by themselves anymore, but instead notify you when they've gained enough experience. Click on the appropriate + icon in the HUD or inventory screen to level it up. This should allow players greater control over what level their gems are and will prevent the situation where gems automatically levelled to have requirements that prevented you from removing items.

is stupid.

I like it the way it is (or was. I don't have an INT gem to test with) where the Gem will level only up to the point you can use it

Does

Acrobatics: 20% chance to dodge all enemy attacks. Removes all armour. Removes all energy shield

Stack with what ever dodge bonus you get from evasion?

Iron Reflexes: Converts all evasion rating to armour.

giving dualist way too much power.

One can always look at the glass and choose whether it's half full or half empty, but from the announced 'balance' change, my initial reaction was "My ranger just got f***ed in the a** again, great...".

I'll give 0.94 a chance nonetheless meh.

I play with the cards i have in hand, where is the confirmation they are adding the power charge skill? I asked chris ingame and he simply ignored the question.

I am still waiting for a dev response, and like i asked before, will they allow a new skill reset once they release it cause i surely won't spec into power charges without a power charge skill.

So I was just thinking, with this change to curses that means if you are in a party only one person needs to use curses. Anybody else trying to use them will just be wasting their time. Also this may become a battle between a melee and a mage battling over who's curse to use. Warlords Mark or Elemental Weakness? Either way it's going to screw over somebody in the party.

Threads that are stickied tend to be made so for a reason. If you are greatly concerned about the state of charges, why ignore the stickied post on the subject by one of the develoeprs?

Any substantial changes to the web, or game balance, have always been accompanied by a stat reset. So, no need to worry.

Most importantly, everything will be wiped one day so.. no need to worry.

Konfeta linked the correct thread. Multiple devs have already talked about this in different threads. I doubt Chris ignored your question. It's more likely that it got lost in chat.

It's there for a good reason. It's been possible to level up gems past your base attributes by having attribute properties on gear. Changing that gear out makes those gems unusable. That's stupid.

No, evasion is chance to evade. Acrobatics gives a chance to dodge, which is a different mechanic. It's rolled before your normal evasion roll.

0.9.3 made evasion ratings comparable to armor ratings, so I don't see how this is too much of an issue. It just lets a duelist have a higher armor rating without taking strength, but with the loss of evasion penalty.
