fortify on leap slam is very worth it for us mere plebs... if you get close to the godlike gear OP has linked then you can remove fortify for most if not all content ofc .,.

YMMV - I found it best to level CWDT depending on how tanky I am. Simply apply feel/logic that CWDT trigger is proportional to your health/damage intakes and level use that to gauge the level to which you can push CWDT at any point.

With 1.5K health at the beginning, you really do not want to go above lvl 1-2. With 6.5K health level or more, you can easily support almost (if not fully) leveled CWDT @ 3285 damage.

You need to as well consider this applies to raw/final life/ES loss, therefore after all blocks/armour is applied.

Kill all. Unless you're specifically trying to max mitigation and regen, like me. 2 points are almost always more valuable than whichever stats the bandits offer.
