[outdated] Caustic Arrow Solo Map MFer (20/300+)

Hello. I'm just writing this to say how much i love this build. In 2 days of playing i have made enough currency to buy andavarius, +3 6l bow, and drillneck. I'm not sure now what should i invest in. Second andavarius i guess. I'm having trouble with my resistances and I have to run purity of elements to keep them almost capped. If I buy second andavarius, that will break my resistances. Maybe someone could give me some guidance?

" Yes. " No problem. Leather belt should be tri elemental resistance (ie, not chaos as your third res). Carcass Jack will be difficult to run with full res balance until you get a dual resistance bow. You will either need to invest in Cloth and Chain (and quite possibly Scion resistances), or change to a rare chest in the meantime. Your helmet is lacking in good res rolls. Your gloves are okay but could use an upgrade as well so they're both at least 35%+ with room for a mastercrafted third resistance, at least. From there it's just jewel sockets. There's at least two you can get quickly. For best results, you're looking for a jewel with either res all or a duo-res (same affix, like a two-stone implicit) affix + your damage/life rolls. In other words, just a matter of some gear upgrades and levels and you should be good. Looking like minimum two gear upgrades and 7 levels to get your resistances balanced to work with Carcass. This is basically the reason I leave Carcass Jack as last in the gear upgrades list. Because it doesn't offer a great res-all roll, it's difficult to get working and keep res capped without purity. That said, strictly from an MF standpoint if all you're going to be doing is running low level maps, you don't really NEED to have Grace up, so that should help out with avoiding Cloth and Chain and instead investing in life nodes and running Purity for a while. I leave that up to you. You're level 83 so there's still a relatively easy 7 levels ahead of you. If it were me, I'd swap to a rare chest for now to make res balance easier, allowing for faster life/jewel nodes and leaving Grace up. How do we get Frenzy Charges ? Just by using Frenzy in between CA ?

Hi
I started this build to get some of my challenges done which i thought were wealth gated. farmed a lot of lich cards and been selling them to get other cards here is my gear. once i am done farming lich. should i move on to maps or stick to dried lake? " there's quite a lot you can optimize if you have bank. helmet, gloves, amulet to higher resistance + life + rarity belt with more resistances + life rare chest (5L) with life and tri-res (not chaos tho) Drillneck once you get the res sorted 6L +3 and to a lesser extent the 5L chest for easier spreading as your character is lvl 73 there are really fast 15 levels ahead of you, that is if you start mapping. note that maps will multiply your iiq/iir stats, thus making them much more profitable to run compared to story zone. for the time being, I'd be using conceffect instead of rarity gem in the bow, but setting up a culling flame totem in some spare link (FT - Culling - IIR as a base) and then hit all the maps, even the low tiers are profitable XP-wise now. " Thanks for the tips! I bought second andavarius and now my resistances are bad again. :D I changed to rare chest tri res chest that i got for 1c. I'll try to get better gloves, helmet and belt as I get more currency. :) |

Well, I'm nearly there. This build really started to shine a while back, as my gems all leveled up. Took a short dip when they all hit lvl 20 and I traded them for new quality 20 gems, but now all those are back to lvl 19.
Just picked up my second Andy. Damage is good enough to clear tier 9 maps pretty easily. I still get killed occasionally, but I've been concentrating more on loot than xp, and it's working great. I've pulled in 5ex over the last two days, which let me upgrade my gear substantially. I'm not even running an optimal skill tree! Only running a +2 6L bow, as I haven't managed to get any of the masters (much less the ones I need) to 8 yet. Also need to get a lvl4 Empower, and I'm currently leveling 6 more CAs so I can try for the lvl 21 CA. Thanks for the fantastic build!
