I have been testing this widescreen aspect ratio and I will have to say the game looks better. I understand how more vision is an advantage, but everyone can do it so it's not exclusive or "unfair" by any means. Also tempallo it doesn't allow you to shoot any further, so if you are getting hit by rain of arrows from screens away you were prob just lagg/desync. .To me this is a quality of life issue. It would be nice if we could zoom out further without having to alter the ratio/widow height.

The name lock thing is not the only issue, when people are heavy speccing ice shot in a 6l with cold pen running hrimsorrow and asphyxia's wrath and you can offscreen that 2-3 normal screen lengths away with a stretched screen. The only bow skills still limited are tornado shot and roa because they have a target. Anything else can overshoot way outside of regular screen size.

" Ice Shot, Puncture, Split Arrow, Burning arrow... lots of skills can offscreen without a stretched screen, just as much as projectiles spells : fireball, ice spear, spark... Hell even bow auto-attacks can It's got nothing to do with screen width or namelocking though, it's simply the game's design and depends on your projectile speed. Now its true that bow can get a little more projectile speed due to easy access to proj/arrow speed in passive tree, but thats also a choice to be paid for with your 34 precious passive points. |

Bow attack range is not based on projectile. At least in my experience.
While it is true for certain spells like freeze pulse and somewhat spark it only makes other spells like fireball/ice spear/and all bow attacks travel faster to their maximum range where they disappear. If this was the case then bow attacks with quill rain would have a much more massive range than most other attacks and this is not the case.
