Season Eleven, Event 1: 65m Fxd Sd Unwavering
" " Qarl's quote taken from: http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1199066 I'm not sure if they are switching the demis to last 3 seasons now or just getting races and pvp in sync for when the demis/victors switch. Im hoping he means just hoops last 3 seasons till switching simultaneously with talismans to get back on track for switching every 2. Hopefully the extra season means the next demi will be an alt art chest. |

" It seems like this has been happening a lot recently. Happened last season when "Brutal" wasn't in the race post. Maybe time to update the race rules post? |

and they nerf flameblast by 20% again instead of ele prolif... and sup with the timing of this nerf, couldnt they wait till next league? is this meant for this race season? they love helman?

" Seriously. As someone who's new to racing and wants to give it a go this time around, I'm a bit overwhelmed and surprised by the lack of organization. From another thread: " Ok... So what are the correct leagues for this particular race? Is it only Torment and Bloodlines? Dreamfeather Elemental Cleave Ranger: http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1087616

" I think this means that the races each have their own league which will be opened 30 min prior to the races, where you'll have to create a new character. |
|
" Exactly. Also, DO NOT DELETE your race characters until they transition to the race format's parent league (Hardcore or Void), to be sure that you get credit for your race, and any prizes from reaching that threshold, or random draws. There have been problems with characters not making the transition in a timely manner (which is normally only a few minutes after race end), so don't take it for granted that you can delete them, even if some time has passed. " The overall racing instructions are terribly put together and are not very informative for a new racer. I agree! They need a complete revamp of the racing setup, instructions and such to make it less daunting for a new racer. |

" Yes it is pretty rough at the start, but this game does have a steep learning curve and it was made that way on purpose. When I started racing i absolutely sucked, RIPs everywhere, with every RIP you learn an adapt and before you know it you're actually not too bad. The point is to practice, learn the mods by experiencing them, learn the strengths and weaknesses of each mod, each map area until it becomes second nature. I can usually place within the top 100 of most races, def not the best but a result Im personally happy with. Personally I found it much more rewarding just to jump in the deep end, learn by experience and trial and error. Poe is not supposed to be a game you get babied through, held held at every step. Make mistakes and learn from them. twitch.tv/Owwlll
