0.9.3b Patch Notes

I think str should effect bow dmg. No point in going into str tree expect life and passives then. Sure there is a point to changing it but I don't understand. Think it is bit odd melee character only one that gain dmg from stats. Thats just how I feel.

Managing mana is part of the game. It's a parameter you have to consider when you build your character. If you're starving for mana, then your build is wrong, period.

Did they really remove the health? I thought that meant they just fixed the bug which caused it to increase bow damage as well as melee damage.

Strength still provides life, we just changed the damage bonus from physical attack damage to physical melee damage.
I haven't gotten any portal scrolls still, and the problem is I have died at the upper prison twice, and then have to redo the whole thing since the lower prison and prison have regenerate. Just want to point out that it has been slightly frustrating, especially with the intermediate areas respawning.
Overall i like a lot of the changes.

I have had no problems with scroll drops but i have heard of people that do. The flask change is nice as i found myself running out of charges really fast with the lower tier flasks. Most of the Bosses were pretty easy i found throughout act 1, the one i had problems with was Fairbanks(Ghost Shipyard quest). I had heard a lot of people having problems with mervial and dying so i was a little concerned but i blew through her easy. It could be based on the fact that i knew what to expect.

Overall i am in love with this patch. So much has changed even with graphics, gameplay, music, etc. I love the new layout of the prison, it really reminds me of "dark ages". The music in the upper prison was awesome, i sat in there listening to it and it got better and better.(Noticed a few comments about how awesome it was in chat as well). Aura monsters bring some nice surprises as well. A lot of the NPC's look very refined and the corsair guys look amazing.

Once i play through more i will give a ton of more feedback! Keep up the great work!
