Season Ten, Event 109: 1 Hr Exiles Everywhere

Fun race as always, got quill rain and shittybreath.

Finally :D
Fencoil, a couple Blackhearts, Wanderlust, and Doedre's Damning. Took awhile to get going, though, so I only ended up at L13. More importantly...!

Seriously the most fun I've ever had in a race and the first time I've ever made it into the top 50 as well as the top 10 of my class. I would love to see more of these.

GGG, PLEASE HAVE THIS AS A ONE-WEEK RACE!!It can fit in with Lore ("Revolt of the Rogues"?) and although everyone basically gets +1000% IIR, anyone can join and one week will not break the already broken Standard economy!

Good run, really comfortable with the race format now. TLDR points below to help anyone struggling.

MY STRATEGY FOR HOW I GOT TO MY RANKING
PHASE 1
- Phase 1: Make 2 mules. 1 for Firetrap and other for extra currency (2 coral rings + spare ID scrolls)
- Phase 2: Rush to Mudflats WP. Spam Firetrap on big packs, hit Lv2 on the way easy
- Phase 3: Rares in every slot. Farm safe Exiles between Mudflats/Coast entrances. Keep unID items <4squares for good vendor/shard ratio. Logout if things get tense since close to WP anyway
- Phase 4: Quicksilver essential. Go Tidal Island and kill Hailrake, grab chest and immediately relog. Roll it for +Ele resists and you are now an Exile Slayer.

PHASE 2
- Aiming to be at the same level of zone and only hunt Exiles/Rares/Blues. Exiles = +3 level of zone so EXP will still be excellent
- Rare weapon #1 priority.
- Armour stats: Life/Attackspeed = #1 priority. Resistance is great but you get those from most rares anyway
- Kill Brutus at Level 10 and get Leapslam. Now oneshotting packs, can discard Fire Trap.

PHASE 3
- 10 onwards, looking for weapon upgrades and 2L/3L unless a piece of gear is particularly weak.
- From here on skill plays a big factor because experienced players will be able to make a FAST decision on whether an item is an upgrade without umming ahhing and losing time.
- Continue to kill only Exles/Rares/Blues for incredible efficiency.
- After Merveil, can swap out Coral rings for dmg rings and spec remaining passives into full damage
- Act II: Because you are focusing on Exlies, only zone level matters. Farm Exiles on the way to Felshrine/Crypt
- PROFIT!!!

Ways I lost time
- Relogging without having gotten WPs (Ledge to Upper prison was particularly bad)
- Overlevelled in Ledge from relogging a couple times
- A few very unlucky Exile spawns in key areas blocking me off (eg double-Igna TRIPLE Xandro).

Hope this helps some people!

one thing I would add to alphas post(after looking at his gear) don't forget that you can still craft IPD on weapons :)
Playing with 70-80ms ping, which is causing long loading between zones,
resulting in 2-4 minutes disadvantage in 1 hour races.
(I was wrong, it wasn't a ping issue but something else on GGG side)
