Hi Enki,
First of all, thank you for such a detailed guide.. The only bad thing about that is that even being the most detailed guide I've ever seen, my lack of ability in the game is making me stuck and a frustrated... Even more when I struggled with atziri at lvl 80ish 6-link (tabula though) and saw your video doing that with a 4link setup haha.
Well, jokes apart, would you be able to help me with that? I tried elder yesterday. dies at twice in the guardians and when I got to Elder I couldn't even make him sweat, his life didn't come even to half .. As I already said, I believe I'm to be blamed, since I'm following the build almost entirely like it's said in the guide.
One thing I remembered, is that I don't have enchants yet, but do you think they could be the cause?
I think my damage is not as good as it should be. HP and Mana I believe is acceptable Mana regen is also good (for me at least, correct me if I'm wrong).

I believe soon I'll be able to buy either watcher's eye or Inpulsa.. I thought of buying Inpulsa first, what do you think? Inpulsa, Watcher's eye or enchants?

I appreciate your help and if anyone want to help this poor exile on his journey will be welcome as well... Your guide is nothing but awesome!

Thanks!

Before buying enchant or watcher eye I'd replace boots amulet and breach ring. Get something with decent life roll and resist. I'd also try for better gloves, straight 70+ life roll with multi res would be much beter than what you have. You can't have much life with your gear and I noticed even 700 life makes a difference.

70+ life boots with 90 total resist goe for 1 chaos if you don't need movement speed. I think you using goldwyrm mainly for mana regen but I'd just get decent pair of boots instead.

Just found on PoE trade a ring with triple res, 70+ life and 50 mana for 3 chaos, much better than this one you're wearing.

Amulet with similar stats probably more expensive but all this investment goes a lot towards survivalibility.

Enchats are super expensive, white helm with golem enchant is minimum 50 chaos, if you want something decent it's over 1 ex. Arc chain enchant is 8ex and more. Better spend all this currency on other items first.
Idk how to feel about this build since this is my first char that I got to endgame but I die quite a bit in maps T7-8 and the clear speed isnt that great... if you guys could pinpoint something I should change or buy I would really appreciate it.

Currently doing lots of different maps to get my tier upgrade % up and am saving up for 6L Inpulsa.
I'm currently follow your build and feel so amazing. My character is vuhk_bv
I'm wearing mf gear so i'm gonna show you what i have and can you please tell me what i can improve, thank
Spoiler

I'm willing to buy a new jewel

Just a quick upgrade - you can start to 20% quality your gems once they hit level 20.

The first problem I notice is that your amulet, gloves, belt, boots and rare ring need to be improved to be more in line with what is listed in the guide. Should have life, mana, at least 2 resistances. The ring and amulet can also get more cast speed or damage stats. I would remove the energy shield craft from the boots and craft mana (MoM = Life). You should also 4 socket your gloves and boots and slot the appropriate gems.

Your gems are not fully leveled yet. This makes a huge difference. The higher the level, the greater the improvement over the previous level. Once you have the level 21 Vaal arc with level 4 empower, you will have an effective level 24 Vaal Arc. This will be an improvement to the base damage, plus 5% more shock effectiveness and an extra chain (which also gives you 15% more arc damage for the extra chain to all previous chains) over what you have now. Also, the 20% quality on gems adds up in a five or six link, so work towards this as soon as you can.

Inpulsa's improves clear speed against mobs drastically as well due to the explosions from killing shocked enemies, the increased damage from killing shocked enemies and the increased shock effectiveness.

I had a tough time 6 linking my impulsa's and ran with my Arc in a 4 link up to T11 without much issue, though the gems were fully leveled and I had the level 4 Empower.

Skill tree jewels should all have x% to Maximum Life. The other stats can vary as needed, but, this helps your survivability a quite a bit.

gfurm has listed a couple of examples of gear in the first post on this page that he found searching poe.trade that were quite cheap and would be good upgrades for you as well.

At work now, so don't have time to review your skill tree.

Good luck.

Hey thought I could help a bit, (paying it forward).

For surviving, just putting quality on your flasks first of all would help.
On top of having 3 damage flasks, I would change at least one to a defensive one. (wise oak or basalt)
You also don't have increased duration in your cwdt set up and have 2 immortal calls activating at the same time.

We are a mind over matter build, so mana helps with surviving, would actually use your crafting benches on gloves and amulet. Just a temporary fix anyways.

Most of the gear I find relatively cheap, not super, but relatively. Don't think 5ex per piece is necessary.

Hope I helped, GL now.

Thanks heaps for the advice! I've swapped my flasks and fixed up the vortex setup, I'm a bit of a numpty.. didn't even think about the fact that CwDT is going to always trigger because it's a damage amount not a chance on damage.

@Enki91 Thanks for the empower tip, wasn't a cheap purchase but for a 6k tooltip dps increase without losing any stats it was well worth the chaos. I'm also impressed by the difference Wise Oak makes.. man it's a good flask if you work your resistances around it (managed to get a ring 'upgrade' that sorted those out).

Many thanks for your help!
A bit more feedback from me:

No issues at all up to tier 15. I know my chest is sick and gives me tons or DPS but anyway.

Died couple times to guardians but that's just not knowing mechanics very well, I only killed them few times before for challenges and just went all in.

Shaper then (second ever try, first was in Abyss and didn't even clear first phase with 900k Shaper DPS wander) - man, there's shitton going around there. Lost 4 portlas in first phase, mainly due to this teleport slam. And here is where Shield charge got me killed twice as well by geting stuck on something. And since it got me killed I tried old fashion dodging around. And it was going well, untis it stopped. Last portal with 1% life left on Shaper, 5 more seconds and I'd kill him.
So bottom line for me is - Shield charge is good, but as all movement skills gets stuck every so often and gets you killed. Even though I said movement on boots is not needed if using Shield charge I went and spent 3 ex on boots with 30% MS and tons of life and resist. I think if I was able to move faser I wouldn't die to Shaper so many times.

Elder is easier for me, easier to practice in low tier maps so you know what's going on. Watching videos on Shaper kill is not the same as practice.
As a newbie POE player I have to say that this is the most awesome guide I have ever seen!! Will you be posting any others? Thanks for your hard work!!
