Enki's Arc Witch Memorial Page

This has been an amazingly fun build so far, and I'm glad it's my first, but for mapping I feel like I might not be doing as much damage as I'm supposed to, this might be because I'm not paying attention to the mods added on the map, but I figured I'd ask regardless.

How far do you think I can keep my current gear before I need to look into replacements, like is what I'm using now fine, or am I handicapping myself with something?

I've been lucky enough to afford somewhat decent alternatives to what you're using on your level 100, although lacking in a few departments, I've also been unable to aquire 34% over cap on resistances, but not sure what I should "upgrade" to get there, any tips at all would be greatly appreciated.
@xupeta: There's no right or wrong answer, it depends on what you need more of right now.
Inpulsa's brings clearspeed to another level, a 6L would provide more single target (assuming you can't surround the boss with enemies and kill him with Inpulsa explosions).

@Cabdyman5OS: Aside from flasks, you could get some shaper gloves with blind and/or cast speed and maybe a rare sceptre ot Doryani's Catalyst. I'd also recommend to farm Merciless Lab for one of the three boot enchants, especially the penetration one helps with longer bossfights.

@Kantuan: Sceptres allow us to use Shield Charge, arguably the most responsive movement skill. The wand passives also only affect attacks, not spells.
The PoB has by default no gear equipped, all DPS gems at 20/20 and no configurations checked, as is mentioned in the notes tab. 300-500k Shaper DPS is realistic in a temp league, anything beyond that requires lots of investment or luck.
At similar investment, Arc trapper has roughly 10% more DPS, lower life/mana pools and less options for sustain. You also won't be able to get the satisfaction of Inpulsa explosions popping a whole room.

@NorSkruf: There's quite some stuff you can do to get a more consistent setup. Start with working on your flasks, that Rotgut can go straight to vendor and the other flasks are missing quality and the right mods. Also replace the mana flask with a Wise Oak, that will let you ignore resistance overcapping for most of the part.
Now to the gear: Start with replacing one of your rings with an Essence Worm to run Wrath, then get a belt with flask duration (or open suffix to add it with Tora) for maximum flask uptime.
After that you can also replace boots, shield and amulet and then start on links to use the correct gem setups everywhere. If you use a Careful Planning jewel in the passive tree you won't need so much Dexterity here. After acquiring proper boots, i'd recomming farm Cruel or Merciless lab for the leech enchant to have mana sustain. Last would be getting a base helmet with +1 Arc chain enchant and craft it with Essences to get a good life roll and the resistances you need.

I've had a lot of fun with this build. I've cleared everything except Uber Atziri and Uber Elder without Inpulsas nor level 3/4 empower. However, I do have a question: Why do you not use Doryani's Invitation? It's a pretty significant boost in damage and gives everything we need except for flask recovery.

Ok... I just got Inpulsa and basically mapping is just a... joke right now.

The 'tooltip' damage didnt go up by much... but when you click 1-2 times whole packs (and the next pack, and the pack to the left and the pack in the corner) just evaporate... this is so much fun... its like Herald of Ash only more... magical :D

Thanks for such a fun build!

One question... I levelled Innervate to 19... am I not better off using that instead of Empower until Empower hits at least level 3?
Let justice be done though heavens should fall.

Hey Enki, would you be able to look over my char? elemt_witch. I got lucky and got an Inpulsa drop. I want to improve things like getting mind of the council or watcher's eye with mana leech from wrath but these two are a little out of my budget I think. What other things should I focus on?

Thanks and great guide
@Corey103: The loss of a life roll and flask duration is just not worth it. When using a Stygian Wise, you can more than make up the damage difference aswell.

@Arcona_RPG_GR: You can do that if you don't want to recolor your Inpulsa's, it'll indeed add more damage until you have a Lv3 Empower.

@Elemt: Start with getting some proper jewels, then farm Cruel or Merciless lab for the leech boot enchant. That should help you getting by until you can afford a Watcher's Eye with leech and after that, go for a helmet with +1 Arc chains enchant.

It came to my attention that a known RMT'er is using this build for his own financial profit on Youtube, and if that's not shitty enough he doesn't even give credit. Anyone got any ideas what I could do?

Hello, first i want to thank you for the guide, its very well written. I just got quite lucky and got a exalt drop and i was wondering what the first priority upgrade might be. i have enough in currency to likely afford Inpulsa's but im not sure what to spend my shiny new exalt on?
In the matter of Inpulsa's its currently 130c+ on Incursion HC. Im using the build and its going great but am I going to be lacking without the currency for Inpulsa's in the future?
Better know this Suuwoop business n***** f*** around and get lit up in your liva, better consida Im a heavy hitta to spit a gat, so watch your mouth before I let loose and give ya that..... Fire
What do you think about Might of the Meek the unique jewel? Is there a place in the passive tree we can make this work? Seems to have a lot of potential to be stat efficient.
