Guide says Awakened Spell Echo isnt worth it.
Just want to confirm since its been buffed to have the same 10% less damage as normal Spell Echo. Is it still not worth vs Anomalous?

The double damage chance does nothing when using Annihilating Light, and the higher more cast speed multiplier only gives ~2% DPS with lots of cast speed on jewels/gear. At 10ex for Awakened Spell Echo vs. 45c for Anomalous Spell Echo it's just not worth it.

Since this guide appears to be a bait, "beginner" guide which requires a 25ex item to get off the ground, does anyone have a link to a more generic non-omniscience Arc Elementalist so that I don't have to start over and can just burn some regrets and keep going?

This is not true at all, i've made it to 90 running T13 Juiced maps with the "Early Maps" setup in the PoB.

I'm breaking into red maps now and I feel like my damage has fallen off hard, and given that I'm actually a beginner (which I why I choose to follow a beginner guide) I'm not really sure how to scale it further without having to buy the absurdly expensive build defining uniques.

It would be nice to have something more generic to follow to scale further within the 5-10ex range and then maybe return to this once I've gotten more currency.

Are you using the End Game items or Early Maps items? Cause im literally geared below 1ex, except for a Cluster Jewel, I havnt had a single Ex drop yet actually, GGG please :(

I'm using roughly the "early game" items. Res capped, level 21 arc and a cluster jewel, 5L staff.

I have like 7ex and I wouldn't mind spending it but I don't really know how to do so to get the best bang for my buck since the "Endgame" set is like 60ex+ just for the unqiues.

I'm doing red maps mostly fine, but any kind of league content like rituals/beasts/blight I feel like I'm hitting a brick wall with a piece of spaghetti.

Crystallized Omni is currently over 30ex. Without it you cannot use Annihilating light, thus making the whole build stuck in dead corner.

Not only are you forced to stand still to repeatedly cast Arc which with new rares is suicidal, after equipping early mapping setup you are expected to magically being able to farm red maps in order to acquire enough for a core item.

Build is no longer League-start viable

Seems like it. It's crazy to think that last league I bought Crystallized Omni for less than 1 ex, and now it's 30 ex. I'm still farming T10 maps and 75 lvl Heists quite comfortably on a super budget gear, but I think I'll need to respec if I want to push it further.
