Hi guys, I have a glove that looks like this:

My question is if I get a glove with culling strike which can't have any eldritch implicits since it's influenced, will it boost my dps or lower it? I'm not using a ritual base exposure helmet.

Get POB (Path of Building, Community build) and you can see if swapping an item will benefit you or not.

And why would you even think about that? By doing that you would lose unnerve, exposure and the effect of mastermind of discord ascendancy which would make u lose a tremendous amount of dps only for culling strike which you can just link to your orb of storms.
And for gods sake replace that call of the brotherhood ring, youre not using archdemon crown nor trinity support youre just loosing dps.

Hi, I did try that but they haven't included eldritch implicits so I can't see the difference :D

Hi, thanks for the answer, I didn't think of linking culling strike to orb of storms, thanks :D I still use that ring because the freezing is cool and helps me with mobs because, well, I'm glass haha but yea I already a cool arcane surge ring that I will swap to soon as I finish crafting it

How to show Lightning Exposure on PoB ?

When i'm wathing another build, i can see it. But if i import my own build, it disapear and don't know how to find it. Even if i have a source for apply Exposure ( gloves ).

And about "effect of shock", still on PoB ? What is the good value to put with this kind of build ?

I actually really enjoy this build. But it's more for fun than to make every content in the game. Or maybe i still need to improve my gear. Because i still die sometimes.

I'm not sure about wand/shield option, i actually prefer staff with The Annihilating Light, damage is really better than every crafted staff ( even +5lvl staff like that )

On par with a +5 staff maybe, better than a +5 staff no way.

I'm not sure about what you mean. But on PoB, The Annihilating Light really give more damage than crafted staff. It's really like %30 or 40% more damage.
But maybe i misunderstand something.

I finally found why Exposure wasnt showed on PoB. It appear only with Awakened Lightning Pen lvl5 ( who give 10% to exposure ), but that's strange, because even with implicit on glove ( who give Exposure on hit ), it doesn't appear.

Damage is not the only thing you should be looking at when comparing it to a crafted +5 staff.

I will list a few things.

If you dont have a Mageblood, the Annihilating Light instantly forces you to roll resists on all of your gear while those suffixes could have been something else.
For example, 16% cast speed on both of your rings, 20% cast speed on ur amulet, 10% mana reduction on your helmet so you could remove the mana reservation cluster and use the skill points for something else (for example, since you use conductivity on your ring you could equip a medium cluster with "Master of Fear" that gives "Enemies you curse are unnerved" and replace the unnerve implicit on ur gloves with "Shocks you inflict spread to other enemies". Would make a huge difference in clear because you use Inpulsa). And so on.

Then the staff itself could have other mods besides +5 gems, like up to 49% cast speed, crit chance, crit multi or even double dmg chance. A +5 staff could open a lot more possibilities for you.

Annihilating Light is a good item that can allow you to reach decent dps without a lot of investment but it is in no way better than a crafted +5 staff.
Ah yes, in this point of view, you're right of course.

But it need really a lot of investment to have all of this good mods and reach more damage. A good +5 staff with decent cast speed and crit can be easily 100ex, and you admit you spent 2 mirrors for you gear. But i choose the easiest way to have fun. But soon if i will have more currency, i will follow your advices. But i think the league will end before.

And by the way, your video with "The Feared" really convinced me to play an arc build again. :D

I also craft this ring : I keep just suffix, i bought for cheap ( i don't remember, probable 2 or 3 ex, but not sure ).

- Suffix cannot be changed
- Veiled Chaos, unveiled flat damage
- Craft life
- Crusader's Exalt and hit %Spell Damage

Hi,

First time here. My son and I are casual players and we've enjoyed this build a lot. We play only a few hours a week and this guide had been very valuable to us, and we finally got to T16 maps. Thank you for this. At this stage I think we've pushed it as far as we can following the guide (barring the expensive stuffs) and we're wondering if there's anything else that we can do to push it a bit further. We only have a few exalts left between us though, and can't really afford the recommended expensive gear, but maybe can still be optimzed somehow? Any advice would be much appreciated. The PoB link is here: https://pastebin.com/Ttn85yAB.

Thanks again!
