Cwdt no longer triggers Vaal haste, what would you suggest for replacing Vaal haste?

Vaal haste is not supposed to be triggered by CWDT, you cast it manually.

I'm currently lvl73 and doing fine but what do I need to improve in my gear?

You use call of brotherhood, then go for cold penetration in your 5-Link.
Maybe go for 2nd ring with cast speed or % cold/light dmg.
What is about physical damage taken, I cant see any armour, I would feel squishy ^^

This is a caster build, you are supposed to be squishy to phys. This is why you use coil.

@most1010: Second option is the best. You only need double curse if you have Ele Weak on Hit gloves, we can't really spare more mana for another curse on Blasphemy.

For leveling, you can surely use Malachai's Simula if you don't have a Goldrim, but at the higher levels you definitely want a real helmet.

@loboman96: Gear looks fine. If you don't need the resistances, switch your gloves with Facebreakers for the heavy crit multi. Ring and amulet got the next best upgrade potential, maybe resistances + mana regen on ring and a crit/crit multi/mana regen ammy (open suffix works, can add crit with Elreon).
If you don't have a Vinktar's yet, that should be on your list aswell.

In first place, thanks a lot for your build, I've been having a blast playing this in Prophecy league :D

I have a simple question: you suggest to get Doryani's Catalyst but I don't really get how this build uses its Elemental Proliferation bonus. Do we use it or it's just there but we don't care?

Where is the Dex needed for the gear you have listed ? I respected my perandus ED build into this and came up way short on dex,,even your final passive tree is very short on dex looking at your current gear,soooo are you playing this build ? What did you change to get enough dex to use the gear you listed ? Im only in my 60s and over 50 short just equipping a MoM defience robe or Sin Tek boots. Just grabbing a +30 dex node and crafting more dex fixes my stuff but yours dont quite mesh for someone new who might be following your build exactly.

One other thing,,you might have gone over this before,,its a long thread :) but how well does Geofri's Crest work with this build ? I just dug up a dusty crest I had stashed and im going to try a 4 link set using a level 3 empower with arc,Spell echo,and Controlled Destr with it wich gives a nice +4 on those gems,,fairly good for a 4link i think or would you use something else in the helm ? Should i just go with a rare helm instead ? Right now I dont have a 5 or 6 link except for tabula without pulling a Daressos or a Belly of the beast from my other higher builds and getting colors would be a mess when switching back to my ranger or Marauder although i a very tempted to let one of them ake a break as i steal their chest piece :) Bad Witch :)

Have you tried amu with base dex? Also nodes going to vaal pact give a lot of dex.
