Can a gem corrupted with a vaal orb still get to level 21 if corrupted before reaching max level.
Should it to be back up to 20/20 for the chance at 21/20 over 20/23?

Thanks Enki for the build, got me back into PoE for the first time since Synthesis!

Would someone be able to help with what to upgrade specifically to help with getting one-shot consistently? Around tier 5-7 maps, most of the map is fine, but some enemies completely destroy me. At this point I'm dying roughly every 2 maps.

Everything looks fine, maybe a bit low on life, this build won't make you invincible, you still have to actively dodge and stay away from enemies, that's where second wind helps on flame dash.

First problem for me is the red socket, I guess, as in fact I've found an enhance support, but of course no empower gem. I put a life leech in there, but that doesn't look optimal. Any advice?

That armor is totally fine for the moment for SSF early mapping. Put Inspiration Support into the red socket. (DPS boost won't show in tooltip until you cast it several times, FYI.)

You can also use the crafting bench to color the sockets, even though it's corrupted (just costs Vaal orbs in addition to chromatic orbs). Because it's a pure intelligence-based armor, if you keep trying to craft "has at least one blue socket", you'll hit 6 blue pretty quickly.

Eventually there is a ton of room for improvement, but that 6L will be better than any 5L you're likely to find in SSF.

Thank you! I didn't know that you could change socket colours on corrupted items. Took me one try to go all blue. Makes a huge difference damage wise.

Hi! I just wanted to share my progress from the first month of the league. I started playing PoE during the last 2 weeks of the metamorph and decided to go with your Arc witch as a starter in Delirium.
Overall it was a great experience! The guide was very helpful in explaining the progression, the transition to higher content was pretty smooth and I managed to get rather fast to red maps. Overall map farming was really good up to T16s. I also had pretty good time farming blight maps T13-T15 and also T16 while I bought explode chest. I also managed to kill Sirius at my 3rd try (while I finally kind of learned his mechanics).
Sadly I feel that this build struggle the most with delirium content and bossfights as it still felt very RIPpy at 5,2k HP and 2,5k ES. I guess it's mostly due to relative unresponsiveness of the dodge mechanics of this build - it feels like there is always a delay between you clicking flame dash and your character actually moving. Other than that it was a great experience!
That's also the end of my adventure with this build as I'm switching to something new now.

Here's my final items. I also used Elemental Dmg Large Cluster Jewel with Storm Drinker and Doryani's Lesson and 2x Crit Chance Medium with Precise Retaliation and Precise Commander (you can go for Precise Retaliation/Pressure Points for cheaper alternative) and Watcher's Eye with Cast Speed while affected by Zealotry (Light Pen on Wrath is better but more expensive).

I hear Simulacrum has about a 1/6 chance to drop a "voices" gem:

Actually, if you sell it for 4.5ex you just lost 23.5ex because its worth 28ex!

The less "adds X small passives" the jewel has the more its worth. A Jewels with only 1 added passive is worth 422ex almost 2 mirrors!

Trade macro just checks the price against the "voices" jewel and doesnt look at the passive text. Just didnt want someone to make the mistake I nearly did, but with a 400ex jewel or something.

Quick question. Why we remove elemental overload from a point onwards? +40% constantly up is rather a good thing, right?

Build is nice overall I can run tier 9-10 with my current gear. I dont think I will ever reach tier 16/Sirus but its ok.

BTW for the life of me I can't find or buy a good 6L chest :P
