Herald of Thunder
Have Herald of ash and Herald of thunder on my shadow and is quite fun watching things die. However I tried it on my marauder and herald of thunder never procs, it is like I cannot shock enemies even with separate +lightning damage gear, and even tried physical to lightning gem. I cannot for the life of me figure out why my marauder cannot shock enemies... Both my shadow and marauder use spectral throw. Also wondering if it is my resolute technique node or iron grip node on my marauder causing this?
Any help on this would be great as I would like a similar mechanic I have going for my shadow with my marauder. Note my marauder has no gear that says it cannot apply shock(if there is any) Anyways fun gem otherwise, love how the lightning bolts break pots and crates for you as well. You can only apply status ailments such as shock either with crit or chance to shock/freeze/ignite. With Resolute Technique you cant deal critical strikes so you have to rely on chance to shock.
This will require either a high chance to shock or high attack speed. A combination of both is the way to go if you dont crit. | |
If I link a Curse On Hit to Herald Of Thunder, does it casts the curse every time I hit with a attack/spell that has its lightning damage increased by Herald Of Thunder, or does it only apply the curse on hits with its on-kill effect?

Curse on Hit's description pretty clearly states that the linked Skill will apply Curses. Unsurprisingly, that is exactly what happens.

has anyone figured out if anger aura affects HoT active part?
doesn't appear in tooltip. it seems like it should work. |

Herald of Thunder does not deal Spell Damage, Anger/Wrath do not apply.

Does anyone know what, if any, reason there is for Herald of Thunder's proc effect not triggering Quecholli's corpse explosion? I was just messing around with it for a bit when I noticed that enemies killed by the Herald's lightning bolts weren't blowing up like I would have expected them to.

"An unfortunate engine limitation. Secondary damage (non-spell, non-attack damage, used both by heralds and that explosion) can't trigger the explosion. This may change i the long term, but is not a high priority. Last edited by Mark_GGG on Nov 1, 2015, 11:59:03 PM

I'm guessing the answer will be "no," but I'm looking for confirmation from someone in-the-know: Will the Reduced Duration Support have any effect on the Cooldowns this Skill has?
