Is your game not detecting a dedicated graphics card?

FIXED ON WINDOWS 11!

look up "Graphics Settings" on the taskbar, find POE in the programs list, click options, select "High Performance". Under each option it should tell you which graphics card that option uses.

I have tried everything to make this game work with my dedicated Nvidia card.
After one hour I just can say only - Thanks GGG for wasted my time.
After so many years in POE now I decide to uninstall to avoid further frustration.

🔥 Fix for POE not using NVIDIA GPU properly on a gaming laptop (RTX 4070 + Intel UHD Graphics) 🔥

If you're still struggling with unstable FPS, frame drops, or POE refusing to properly use your dedicated GPU in 2025, maybe my experience can help you.

🖥️ Setup:
Gaming Laptop with NVIDIA RTX 4070 (dGPU) + Intel UHD Graphics (iGPU)
POE claims to use the NVIDIA GPU but performance is awful.
FPS jumps from 20 to 220, stutters, lag spikes, and unstable frame times.
🔍 What I tried (but didn't work):
❌ Disabling Intel UHD Graphics in Device Manager

POE still claimed to use NVIDIA but actually switched to Basic Windows Rendering Mode (5 FPS, 1980s pixel art style 😅).
❌ Updating drivers (Intel + NVIDIA, no improvement).
❌ Setting POE to "High Performance" in NVIDIA Control Panel (ineffective).
❌ Forcing POE to use NVIDIA in Windows Graphics Settings (also useless).
❌ Disabling the Intel GPU manually (caused more issues).

✅ The only REAL fix that worked:
🔧 Go to BIOS and force the laptop to use dGPU only (NVIDIA RTX 4070).

🎯 Results:
💯 Finally, POE runs smoothly, stable FPS, and optimized graphics.
⚠️ The game "lied" to me for over a year, pretending to use my NVIDIA GPU while still running on Intel UHD.

If you're struggling with POE (or other games) not properly switching to your NVIDIA GPU, go check your BIOS and force dGPU mode!
