Hi,

thanks for the build. I'm lvl 80 now and built your Tornado-Ranger. I didn't play for 1 year and started again a few days ago. I was shocked how quick I die (lvl 60 monster 1-2 hits). I only have 2k HP but decent equipment....

Same here, I die like shit on 1-2 hits to white mobs

Good to know, seems to be normal then :D
Need some more armor then...do u know how to link the gear?

Edit: Played against lvl40 enemies and died with 1 hit. Built seems to be unplayable

wtf are you guys doing? no resists mb? im at lvl ~60 2,5k life and the only thing i die from are bosses. normal mobs die instant and they dont even have the chance to deal dmg.

also there is blood rage for leech

Yeah but it says right in the guide that blood rage is not a must have. I am using this build and I was questioning the life leech as well. I am level 67 and have not died yet but when I saw the vaal pact node I started to wonder lol.
Aye, make sure yall have 75% fire/cold/lightning res, and as much life as possible. Not many other things should kill you. And if you need more leech, spec into it. The build goes by quite a lot. The final tree doesn't have it, because with more damage=more leech=less leech points needed.

It seems he hasn't really put much effort into updating the guide, so it's likely that in his 2.6 version he had more leech nodes from the mana and life leech part at the bottom of the passive tree.
I just wanna chime in that I, too, was having mana issues with this build, level 31 (especially with Hatred and Herald of Ice both on). I spec'd all the way in to the Essence Sap tree (only 2 more points than the guide uses) and have zero issues now. I can single-target spam Tornado Shot and almost never have to use a mana pot.

My Tornado Shot has PPAD and LMP linked to it. For reference. (Total mana cost of 13 per shot at this level) and I only have 80 mana available to use with all that is reserved.

Can somebody tell me if the snakebites are still fine gloves. What gloves should be replaced with Snakebites and what gloves should replace snakebites if I have them. Thank you.

I don't know enough to give an opinion. I can just say that in the guide he says for gloves to use either Maligaro's Virtuosity, Shadows and Dust, or Facebreaker.

There is an issue with the Aura setup in this guide..i linked Curse on Hit - Herald of Thunder - Assassins Mark - Innervate as suggested in the guide. The Assassins Mark curse procs properly but there is an issue with Innervate's synergy with Herald of Thunder. The Herald 'Cannot Shock' and innervates only procs when a shocked enemy is killed. I have played with this link for quite a while and i can confirm Innervate doesn't work..any help would be appreciated. Im going to switch to the ice version in the meantime.

I think the shock is supposed to be coming from the lightning damage from either Lightning Arrow or Physical to Lightning gems. Unless something has changed, when you crit with an element, it should automatically inflict the elemental effect.

Leveling Leech: For those of you leveling and having mana issues, due to the nature of how leech works, it will be rough until your damage gets better. I believe it's the same deal with life leech, but the people reporting otherwise are higher level and farther along than me.

Honestly, my advice at level 62 for people leveling up with this build, just run Hatred. That way you still have half your mana pool, and you get the slow and corpse shatter from ice damage. The gem setups are for endgame. For leveling you can get by with just a damage link and fill in what you can elsewhere. Just keep your weapon up-to-date, use the best movement speed boots you can, and use the rest of your slots to focus on capping res + life. Once you hit end game, then you can invest in gear that lets you use all the skills.

My skills while leveling have been TS + GMP/LMP + PPAD + Faster Attacks until I lucked out with Tablua. Then had Hatred and Blink Arrow. When I was able to, I also fit in a CWDT lvl 1 + Temporal Chains Lvl 5 for some extra survivability.

I understand, and yes and my TS does tons of Lightning damage and shocks enemies too..but Innervate is a support gem and its linked to Herald of Thunder as its skill..so it wont proc when TS or LA shock enemies..it will only proc when the skill its linked to kills with shock. The gem says "Gain Innervation on Killing a Shocked Enemy with Supported Skills"..and HOT is the supported skill..which cannot shock..therefore it will never proc..I think he forgot to change this part from 2.6..where Innervate was totally different and would work..
@Yohaan14: That's strange if that is how it is working. Based off the text I'm interpreting it as when it kills an enemy affected by shock. As in when the supported skill kills an enemy, it checks to see if that enemy had the shock debuff and, if so, grants Innervation regardless of what caused the shock debuff.

That would mean however that HoT would have to get the killing blow on a mob which might not help too much if people are at a point of one-shotting stuff, or if it doesn't deal enough damage to get last hits.
How reliant is this build on crit? and what nodes would you consider to be the least important? I'd like to try this in hardcore but I don't quite know which nodes to take points out for more hp.
