There is no quick solution unfortunately. You should stack as much HP as possible. Too many uniques w/o life.

I would replace boots & gloves with high HP + resist rare ones for now. Chest is terrible. Look for 80+ Life with resists. Basically look for +HP and resists until you reach ~4K life, do not bother yourself with DPS increase until then.

Fastest way to get better is to buy a Kaom's Heart + 5L bow if you have the currency.

So which is it... don't bother with DPS or buy a 5L bow... I have been playing for less than a week, so go easy on me =P

I would recommand u buy a cheap evasion based 6l chest, It's cheap, just 40-50c. then use essence of greed to craft it. u want 100+ life+ at least two good res, save currency to buy a pDPS 300+ bow and then use The Jeweller's Touch to 5l it.

also a good belt would also help

Sorry if I was not clear enough. I was trying to say scrap your chest -> buy a Kaom's Heart -> buy a 5L bow and use that bow for TS setup. Kaom's Heart does not have any sockets - as you may know already.

You advise me not to go Raider but Pathfinder but you are Raider yourself XD?

I want to transition into a Windripper Tornado Shot with this build, but since the Windripper portion of this guide is outdated and not complete, can anyone help me out?

What's a decent skill tree to respec into, and other than the links that are provided (which are sufficient), what type of gear am I looking for? Flat ele and weapon elemental damage on as many pieces of gear as I can get? I have no idea where to start any and advice would be much appreciated.

I use Blood Rage and dont use Vaal Pact. Losing life really slowly and dont need a second setup for charges. Yesterday I found an atziris flask, feels OpieOP with Pathfinder :O Pathfinder now actually starts to feel like a good choice.

With Master Alchemist now btw can I get rid of all remove burn, shock and freeze effects on my flasks??

Seemingly there is a lot of talk about how OP Pathfinder is. Some major "balancing" (read Nerf) may be on the way. :)

That being said, I am really curious how a "budget" PF fares - if such a thing exists. The flasks to get the most out of char seems to be expensive.

Sorry, do you think this could be done also with a Slayer duelist? Would any significant changes be required?
And if going Duelist (you had suggested a Champion, which also seems appealing), would you go hybrid defenses or still just pure Evasion? Would any changes be required there?

Either you have legacy Reach or you miscalculated its dps. If it is indeed 350, it is a lot better than Harbinger with 385 dps.

I have non-legacy Reach with 288 dps and my buffed dps is 120k. I could only wonder what I'd have with 350 dps Reach.

I'm talking about the legacy Reach 360 pDSP. I am concerned that my bow is now 8.6 crit. Reach has 6 crit. My DPS tornado is now 80k. Because my build is now more directed at survival

I'm a budget PF.
1 chaos Harbinger 5L, 5L Kintsugi, etc. I've spent maybe 30-40 chaos along the way on gear. Flasks were cheap as I only got an Atziri's promise. a simple Sulfur flask serves as our 2nd dmg flask. You also have 2 divines for healing and quicksilver for speed. If I had a better bow I'd probably swap the sulfur for a stibnite.

How has a budget pathfinder faired? Lets just say I wouldn't try this in Hardcore. In ESC it's been a squishy experience. Many one shots, many swarmed deaths. I'm 99% sure I stand no chance against guardians and Shaper. I've cleared and done completions of most t10 maps excluding uniques, often solo. At t11+ things get sketchy.

I think the budget BV pathfinders fare better, I've heard they can take on Uber izaro and Shaper.


I'm looking forward to the updated guide as I need to kill the guardians and shaper.
