How do you guys deal with physical reflect? I am at level 86 and I keep dying to it all the freaking time. I die like 3 times a day...
I know you can evade reflected damage, but my estimated evasion is only 39%. Even when I use Grace, it goes up to 52%, I still get insta-killed 99% of the time.
How am I supposed to level like this? I can't be bothered to check every yellow mob before attacking...

I deal with it with much more life at 4800 hp, and good ll (6%). Also I just don't shoot at phys reflect mobs with my single target attack. I use the AOE instead.
Other things that can help: a jade flask of reflexes, life gained on hit (on AOE), vaal grace
Btw, your chance to evade score is irrelevant. What is important is your evasion vs your accuracy, based on this formula:
Chance to Evade = 1 - Attacker's Accuracy / ( Attacker's Accuracy + (Defender's Evasion / 4) ^ 0.8 )
Where you both attacker and defender.
If you want to check how much life you need or how much you must tone down your damage to survive one shot death on physical reflect, get a look the crit calculation topic in my signature.

When two witches watch two watches, which witch watches which watch?
If the witches watching watches watch the same watch while you watch which witch watches which watch, they switch watches; then, the watch switching witches watch which watch you watch.
Watching witches watch watches is not for the faint of heart...

I'm kind of the opposite, always using my puncture on phys reflect mob, but maybe doesn't cause me as much issues because I use an added fire support gem instead of a phys damage increasing gem and don't have pierce chance so wont hit any adds sharing the phys reflect aura.
Other than that I agree, poster needs more life and less damage. I get by with 4.4k or so.
For phys reflect maps I swap out TS for a high lvl ice shot gem...does the job though still an issue if map also has vulnerability mod.

My stats:
1) You're using Tabula with only 3.5k life and have a pretty low life threshold
2) Also what is your accuracy rating? If it's over 2000, reflect becomes a big problem
3) Are you using Lionseye?
4) Added fire damage is deadly. CWDT doesn't help surviving it.

I agree pierce is part of the problem. I used to play pierce back in domination (LA/GMP/pierce) so I had Piercing Shots, and reflect on frenzy was REALLY dangerous as I could pierce a reflecting monster and hit another one behind. This cost me some one shot deaths. Now I use a regular puncture / split arrow/chain and I have much less problems.

I doubt this is true. CWDT proics after 0.01 seconds absorbing all further damage. It's the initial impact of TS/the piercing shot that casues the reflected damage (EXCEPTION: Fire damage+Ele reflect)

If I understand this correctly (my math is a bit rusty), then I get 0.19 as the chance to evade. (My evasion is 6730 and Accuracy - 1623).
It seems to me very hard to find a good balance. Even with having low accuracy (1600) and high evasion (10k) the chance to evade would be 0.24, which I think is underwhelming.
I know I need more life, I just can't afford it right now. This is my first character and my gear is not great (mostly mediocre life rolls). I lucked out with finding Tabula Rasa and Drillneck in maps. I would use a regular evasion chest if I had the resources to buy one that's decent and has at least 5 links.
I love having lots of damage, it's fun. And I hate that this game punishes you for that.

My Accuracy is 1623, No, I'm using a regular harbinger. I'm not using added fire, I have TS with GMP, Crit chance, Crit dmg, Phys dmg, Pierce.
I don't have an Immortal Call set up by the way, as I'm having trouble getting 4 red sockets on my equipment.

Use at least a 3 link with CWDT+IC+EC. Increased duration is useful, but not a must have. I'm confident that the lack of those gems causes a big part of your deathes.

Hey uhm .... i only use cwdt + ic. It seems to work also without ec... or do i get something wrong here ? i mean even if you have only one second of immortal call it should do the trick.
