Hi Guys,
I have a question regarding crafting Harbinger Bows. My goal is to craft "ok-ish" Bows (because I don't have that much orbs to spend) to earn some currency. Neversinks iLevel List:
Spoiler
Levels of interest are:
1) iLvl: 60: 130 to 149 (Cruel) - Local Physical Dmg +% 2) iLvl: 65: 24 to 33 / 49 to 57 (Tempered) - Local Min/max added physical damage 3) iLvl: 73: 150 to 169 (Tyrannical) - Local Physical Dmg +% 3) ilvl: 73: 75 to 80 / 100 to 135 (Emperor's) - Local Physical Dmg +% / Local Accuracy Rating 4) iLvl: 77: 29 to 38 / 58 to 68 (Flaring) - Local Min/max added physical damage 5) iLvl: 83: 170-180 (Merciless) - Local Min/max added physical damage 5) iLvl: 83: 170-180 (Dictators) - Highest Damage/Accuracy mod ingame What does that mean? If I find a iLvl 73 white Harbinger Bow, it has always the mod "% Critical Strike Chance". So what does "Local Physical Dmg" mean? Why is 2 times iLvl 73 stated? " Does that mean i should run Tier 4 maps to get those iLevel? Also I don't understand the issue with the term "tyrannical" (becuase of language issues): " I understand this in this way: when the Bow has the term "tyriannical", I should alter the bow further. But: " This says (to me): The term "tyrannical" is the best type of bow. So what is true? ^^ And now the question I hope it can be answered: Can someone explain for dummys (for me), how I identify a bow that has potential to be worth some chaos? Let me explain this in detail. As i said at the beginning of my post: I want to spend not much currency (< 100 alterations e.g.) to gain slowly some wealth. So can I say "after alterating the Bow, its physical damage is up to 150 and this is decent"? Which Phyiscal damage values are good enough to regal the item? I hope i explained my issue good enough ^^ Kind regards Last edited by Bisrob#7105 on Mar 28, 2016, 5:11:13 AM

Is it worth to do all the act4 for skillpoint and level the gems? I'm not really in the mood for leveling a fresh ranger.. level'd enough to 70+ the last days :/ And also any tips on my gear? 3.3k life, feeling pretty squishy. Last edited by kewkie#3761 on Mar 28, 2016, 7:21:11 AM

"Both are effective, I found Mathil's easier to gear and I never have to worry about reflect. I like that about the Voltaxic build so I have gone away from physical crit completely. I still keep up with this thread as there is always good info and theory rolling around. It comes down to what appeals to you as a player. |

"You just have to do half the act 4 to get the skill, which isn't hard and totally worth it. (dried lake, mine 1&2, and finally crystal veins if you want check point) Ranger builds list: /917964

" It is like this. The item level of an item allows you to get some possible properties. The higher the item level, the more possibilities. Some possibilities are only available for items that are over a certain item level. E.g. to get the Tyrannical property your bow has to be item level 73 or higher. So what he's saying is, get a harbinger bow ilvl73 or higher, use orb of transmutation, see what you get and if you don't get the property you want (e.g. Tyrannical or something else), keep using Orb of Alteration on it until you get those properties. In the second message he says that if you keep Alt'ing the bow and you get just Tyrannical property, you can use regal. The reason this is, is because a blue item can only have 1 prefix and 1 suffix. Each property falls into one of these two categories. The reason to regal when you have just Tyrannical/Flaring is because you can then get a really nice additional prefix either tyrannical or flaring, which you wouldn't get if you used orb of augmentation. This then allows you to craft other good properties with masters. My recommendation, don't bother crafting yet, find a cheap Lioneye's Glare. As to how to determine an item's value: experience playing & trading & thinking about it. Also, go on poe.trade if you haven't heard of it already, that's an easy way to check out item prices. |

"You're using a physical spec with an elemental bow. It can't work well. Either you reroll a proper elemental spec or you change your bow for one with high physical damage and crit. Ranger builds list: /917964
