[3.0] NeverSink's ♣ INDEPTH Tornado&Archer Guide ♣ Beginner friendly ♣ Rapid clear ♣ All bosses

Hi OP, thanks for the great list of tips! However, Im still stumped about tip 25 regarding added fire on puncture and I really need a explanation to understand...

I tried equipping either added fire or faster attacks to puncture separately and both had roughly same dps. However add fire adds to bleed while faster attacks doesnt. So how come added fire is the worse choice here?

Really appreciate if you enlighten me, thanks.

The bleed only scales of the physical damage and puncture is a hit and run skill.

You usually want to fire a single shot and then either run or proceed knocking back with tornado shot (proccing the bleed-on-move). Faster attacks helps increasing the efficiency and execution speed of this strategy. Pierce increases the raw damage output and adds a lot of utility.

Further added fire damage would create a significant danger when fighting elemental reflect mobs, since CWDT doesn't help there.
Please don't PM me ingame with filter/guide questions, post them on the forum, after reading the FAQ.

What about Power Charge on Crit instead of Faster Attacks for Tornado Shot? :o
I've been using that and it raises my DPS and puncture also benefits from it when you have 3 stacks.. Which you can easily get :)

Thoughts?

Tried it. Decent. However, while the DPS is comparable, your mobility goes down significantly. You spend more time in between shots before you can proceed moving, slowing down your clear speed and kiting capabilities.

Throwing in a single assassins mark on every second-third mob group keeps your power charges up 99% of the time. Don't forget about the more multiplier on assassins mark+crit chance increase. This provides a massive DPS boost, while keeping your mobility from faster attacks.

Yeah! Stupid of me not to think like that :') I just tried it and did Shipyard without any problems :D Thanks bro! Love the build!

I do have a small request.. Could you post some more Atziri runs? :o

Two more Atziri runs after my first attempt where I died three times, happy to say both death free against Atziri ...and double bonus, for the first time ever, finally something OTHER than damn flask:

Spoiler

Also managed to craft a decent bow finally, incl a yolo exalt that gave me 28pc crit chance mod:

wow thanks for the tips! this build is really beginner friendly!

very good tip on the rares vs uniques. the biggest problem with the uniques is the lack of resists on rats, step boots, gloves. I don't have a beefy enough chest with resistance for all the uniques atm. Once I get to 68 doryanis will help me pick up another unique (probably gonna get drillneck) but not two. Time to look for some beastly amulet and rings!

Hey, I don't have much more to say other than I love this build so far. I suck at making my own builds or figuring out the best passive combinations, so this was like a godsend for me. Just got level 70 a bit ago and I plan on going further. :)

(And as a side note I found this belt today)

Hi,
Thanks for the build. I enjoy it very much.
I am currently level 69 and it is working ok.
-Already 2 max res and the third is 50%.
-No life or mana issue with Thief's torment.
-herald of ash, ice and hatred all running together thanks to alpha' cowl

Now I have a few questions about chest piece.
Currently I am using a 4L belly of the beast. It gives me around 400 extra life.
I also have a carcass jack, a lightning coil and a hirry's hire that I need to craft.
I am hesitant to switch to Hirry as I would lose 400 life but reach 50% evasion. I am currently not suffering from reflect, so unsure about lightning coil.
Which armor should I craft and use?
I started crafting a harbinger bow but it will be expensive and delay my armor crafting. Shall I continue using my chin sol? It works quite well and the short range bonus is great! What do you think of this bow?
Thanks
you know how I know this build is strong? Let me tell you a quick story.

Today, I reached the quest for Maligaro's Spike in Merciless Act 2. The part where you kill the giant spider. Well, I have done this quest many many times and always the spider escapes at least once and climbs to the ceiling. But today...he didn't even get a chance to escape and I was just using an infractem. Really loving this build. I like playing PoE to try and make godly one shot kill toons and this is the toon that makes me feel most like this. Thank you.

Luckily, I think I have enough to actually get a 350 dps bow, a 6l chest, and the drillneck to try and reach that point. Will such gear suffice in making me able to just run through maps like crazy in the video? Will let you know soon!
Hello, i'm trying to craft my own bow, i made it 5l yesterday, but im not sure if it is going to reach good dps. After few alts i got the tempered mod, and since my bow is itemlvl 74 it was ok, lets try to get tyranical mod, but after over 300 alts i just got another tempered mod, i feel getting tyranical or cruel mod is so hard. should i keep trying or i better buy another bow?

Trying this out and liking it... I've not found a good quiver yet, so until then I'm using this... Seems to work well (also using all 3 heralds) :-)

This is the best bow I've found so far...
