[3.0] NeverSink's ♣ INDEPTH Tornado&Archer Guide ♣ Beginner friendly ♣ Rapid clear ♣ All bosses

Nope, I use Puncture, which has more utility and is sensibly cheaper in mana. Also I do enough damage to slaughter most boss quite quickly. And if the boss room has adds, I'll get the frenzy charges from them (and some power charges as well).
If there's no or few adds only, frenzy is basically mandatory to maintain charges. It can be put in a single slot however but I haven't used it that way for a while.

blood rage & dance: I don't really need it (as said above, my damage is high already, ymmv), and I also don't have the appropriate colors on my boots and gloves. I'd have to move out my golem to do so.

Res can be capped with gear.
There's no cap on life, and those 40 hp translate to 100+ with the % increased life from tree.

If you lack some res, just temporary spec into Cloth and Chain or Survivalist. You can always refund it later when you have the appropriate gear.

Being tri 40%+ res jewellery priced several exalted each piece, wouldn't be wiser to regret the bandit choice later? Especially given that the nodes you're suggesting take 2/3 passive points, which could be spent in otherwise useful way.

40 extra life from oak translates in 100 total life bonus if we skill % increased maximum life for 150% total, which, as a ranger, take up 25 passive points, which are all the points around the passives we use, minus the two behind Revenge of the Hunted. I didn't even consider the two nodes before Profane Chemistry as they look like a waste of skill points to my eyes, definitely wouldn't go till up there for a miserable 6% increased maximum life.
On the other hand, 10% to every elemental resistance... It looks so much better to me. At low level, and why not even at top level!

If I remember correctly (I've been away for quite a while), before 2.0.0 helping Kraytin in Normal was a very common choice, and if I remember correctly he used to give 12% to all resistances, which is still not far from the 10% it gives now.

Finally, 40hp are good, but plenty of endgame gear gives you 80hp when not 100/120hp, and with these bonuses those 40hp disappear in worth, especially in front of an HP pool of 4K; as for Normal and Cruel, while on normal we come out pretty much safely without investing more than half dozen of points in HP nodes, even on cruel those 40hp (actually 60~70hp) don't seem so amazing compared with a +10% to all resistances that you might have troubles to have already capped given the continuous upgrade of the gear that not always have the necessary resistances.

So, all in all, I thank you for the reply but I'm still not convinced over that bandit choice...

regretting the bandit: 20 regret orbs
cloth and chain = 2 passives = 2 regret orbs. And it also adds 36% armor & eva.

Kraytin has never been a common choice. In normal it has always been either Oak or skill point (for ll). Actually a skill point is roughly equal to 40 hp, as 5% life will net you also around 100 life with "endgame" gear. Check other guides, you will always see these recommendations.

+40 life is more than 5% life for a decent build.

There is no knowledge
That is not power
Hence my "around".
A skill point can help grab a third jewel slot sooner which can grant up to 7% life. I'd still favor the 40hp however as such a third jewel can likely be taken only very late.
Also please stop to define decent build as tanky build. There are tons of good builds that run at 4.5k life.

Can you link your bow please?

This should only happen if you're using a bow tuned towards elemental damage.

It is magic bone or composite bow with 4G slot. It has + around 20 fire magic dmg. Unfoturnately, i sold it. Will try to buy new one to test again. And i had heralds of ice and light on.

The problem with having ppad lower my dmg is that, ppad has -10% atack speed. Anyway, if you still want to see, i have screen shots

Thank you NeverSink all around, using your Loot Filter and loving this guide. Decided to give it a try for Darkshrine and it's great. Felt like things took off as soon as I capped resists in Merciless.

And to share a bit of a jaw dropper, this dropped as is on Day 3 of Darkshrine:
