Added fire damage does not add to the bleed on puncture though. It is tooltip dps that is not calculated correctly. Only phys dam adds to the bleed on puncture.

oh snap. thats the biggest change right there then. because it used to be based off initial hit dmg (elemental or otherwise) and not just physical damage. this is probably why most people have seen a massive decrease in its damage, while others haven't noticed a whole lot.

i used to use puncture before the nerf with pure elemental dmg and it worked fine. i haven't used it since patch though, but not doing any physical damage at all looks like it wouldn't even work in the least.

Yea, Puncture tooltip dps is kind of fucked. Basically added fire and WED don't do anything besides increase the initial hit and not the bleed.

gmp just gives you more of a area of killing field since 5 shoot out n not 3 5 covers more of n area then 3

well you cna shotgun with LMP too.... isnt the single target DPS way higher with LMP than GMP? (since both shotgun?)

one shotguns a max of 2 projectiles more so again it isnt a big deal. Gmp is better. Single target you can use puncture as the guide states.
