New Ambush/Invasion - how to start.

Hey guys, I'm back to PoE after several months. I don't have good knowledge about best starting characters.

I need some advice about few things.
1. Which character should i choose as starting character in new league ?
2. Which character should be the best for farming dominus/piety at beginning without great gear?
3. Is it worth to invest in rarity for start?
4. Should i play with friends or alone at beginning ?
