Season 6 Rundown - What's New or Interesting

This wasn't really feedback, until: we should have a Race and Season subforum somewhere, so that we can discuss stuff that isn't Race and Season Feedback.

Every season, while planning, i make a breakdown of the races that fall outside the norm from my perspective.

* Each Signature race awards demis.
* Demi races (signature) during week races. Probably an oversight caused by the above change.
* Many more timeslots used: 15/24.
* ZERO Descent. OMGWTFBBQ. Edit: completely removed, not replaced. S05 had 14 Endless Ledge, 27 Descent: Champions, 14 Descent. S06 has 18 Endless Ledge, 21 Descent: Champions.
* ZERO Cutthroat. "Cut-throat races are being pulled out of the season for more dedicated testing in preparation for 1.1.0. This is confirmation of planned long-term cut-throat in 1.1.0."
* ZERO 8 hours. Sad - probably my favorite length of all.
* ZERO Turbo solo bursts.
* ZERO 1 month.
Edited adds:
* First repeat reward (different art): Andvarius - Season 2 600pt - Season 6 135pt
* [F]un races random rewards have been changed:
** Endless Ledge/Descent: Champions, s05 was 64 items across the first 7 season rewards. s06 now 100 items across the first 3 season rewards.
** 12min Burst, s05 was 29 items across the first 5 rewards. s06 now 33 items across the first 4 rewards.

We all know internal testing results in a failure and we will read CT League will be pushed to 1.2.0 or get a soon to be a Wasteland league.

Imo GGG should test different Burst durations and modes.
Like 2 30 min bursts or 6 min burst

Is fracturing for rares only? That'd be kind of meh... On the other hand if it was for every mob, that would be hysterical, and I would love to see it.
Lol probably only for rares. In case it is for white mobs, I see a chain reaciton incoming :P

Well obviously only the first white would fracture, not its fractured babies. :p

It has to be that all mobs fracture. What would be the point of a race where only rares fracture? Why not simply include all nemesis mods in that case?

I'm kind of excited for this now simply for the lols factor.

Me too. I assume it's rares-only cuz it's madness otherwise. But i def welcome the madness.

Itll be disappointing if fracturing only applies to rares, decent if it also applies to blues, great fun if it also applies to whites and fucking hilarious if it also applies to bosses.

Then the devs would certainly have added a fractured turbo.(BLAMT isn't a mode that goes past ledge)

Brutus-->Better TP out now and go prisoners gate.
Or Mervs second form ends up in fighting additional first forms.

Suicide minions with Fractured mod would be hilarious because you will instantly be surrounded.

And Fracturing could easily combine with Fire Cold or Lightenchantment.


Turbo Fractured Fire Enchanted Immolation and immolation wouldn't be trivial anymore.

And also Leap slam would really suck because you leap in an explosion+burning ground trigger fracture and either get stunned or trigger a second explosion wave that kills you.


If it's indeed every mod then GGG should promote this mode like DC last season and try really uncommon combinations.

Fracturing Rogue(Xandro would be an exile always getting skipped)

Or FRACT Fract(Famine/Fixed Roque Ancestral Cutthroat(don't blame me it's the only active mode with the letter C, there is no chaining) Turbo Fractured)

The last exotic modesetup was the Latif/Lactif but well Lethal+Turbo :/
There aren't many exotic modes without lethal.
