PVP in Nemesis

Hi, my question may seem dumb but I was wondering, if I die in PVP in Nemesis league (hardcore), will my character will die along and turn into a standard character ? Or it doesnt apply ?

Deaths in the PvP Arena do not really kill you. Other forms of PvP might not be the same (for example PvPing people during the bandit quest will kill you).

For example, Greust in the second act, if I join a PvP match, will I die ? Is that the PvP Arena ?
