Well they did mentioned the chests got updated for s4. Fine change there. Hopefully rangers starting area chests got an upgrade too.
Ice nova beats pulse in races pretty handily until 19 (lmp), btw. Assuming fireballs still in the starter chest for single target dps, that is. IGN: KoTao

ranger starting chest is still garbage, split arrow and no quiver. not sure about the second chest though, the alluring still gives quiksilver so its pretty much a must pick. dunno about second zone, roa still drops from the other one
