patch 11.1 HUGE LLD dps increase

Anyone else gain like 2k more dps for phys? MY damage just went through the roof peaking now at like 7k. Let me know how u facebreakers wreck god damn souls in Standard. Good balance for phys, it was needed. I cant wait to use my retardedly OP phys crit sword mara now.

it went from like 5k to 7k and now it looks like I can peak at a bit over 8.5k. where as my peak before was a little under 6k with a 5link. I think this might have been on purpose since alot of melee weapons got huge damage increase and facebreakers have alot less utility. I hope it stays this way, and now with diamond flasks my crit facebreaker dodge/block ranger is going to be alot more fun to play.

I feel like a gawd now, I can almost match the dps of a low life dual red beak trapper!

Yes, i posted my thoughts about that issue in both announcement/patchnotes forum but no one pays attention or cares. Its totally retarded how the dmg calculation ruins now the balance in LLD even more as it was already with some other builds. LLD matches tend towards to become simple "i hit u first u die" matches instead of some tactical pvp matches. PvP needs a really big improvement, if not who the f..k will play that, it was already nearly impossible to find good opponents who were prepared for the arena but now every fucking noob with some +phys dmg on his items and a shitty skilltree/flask can dash out crazy dmg without making his gear very good like i did to get that dmg befor the patch was released. The proportion from LLD players life to players dmg is totaly broken now and in some cases it was so also befor the patch comes out.

The physical damage buffs did not change a thing... damage is still too high in comparison to life and damage reduction, but the best possible builds still focus primarily on survivability and not damage % nodes

It's not true in the slightest that any 'noob' can be even mediocre, besides a facebreaker character. Apart from that, i would say that pvp balance revolves 40% around the tree and 60% on gear, with specific things obviously being superior to the point of op op

pvp balance has definitely been made an even more important issue with the recent changes to hp/es and physical dmg.
In my oppinion especially the physical dmg was already a real problem to deal with in low level pvp. Because the physical dmg reduction forumla is balanced for pve and absolutely not for pvp. If I would stack only armor on my equip and get about 200% increased armor + a granite I would still hardly mitigate any of the physical dmg of a facebreaker.

Well the recent changes made it even clearer to me, that I'm very likely not going to play pvp anymore until pvp gets reworked.

dude facebreakers are like 60%+ fire damage with infernal blow which almost every facebreaker uses. I still think phys was underpowered in comparison to ele builds. This patch is going to make sword insanely more effective too because now one of the biggest defenses is block since life got nerfed and sword is the only source besides casters that really penetrate that defense. I think phys is now more on par with elemental damage but offensive power and defensive powers need to be balanced again, but maybe thats what they were going for. I think the pvp LLD circuit's build diversity is growing but the overall structure isnt as great as it could be. We will see what they have planned I guess.

anyone know if a phys critical bow is now viable? I kinda wanna see that since the damage is alot higher maybe they can kill before enemies get to them. probably not since u can just leap slam, whirling blades, shield charge, lightning warp, then flickerstrike onto them.
