[28] My dead LLD build ( RF + EE )

As my char Ivan_PVP / _Ivan_PVP is no longer PVP-viable I'll post some info about it, don't really know why :) I feel you need to know how cool it was, since you won't have a chance to experience it past 0.11

I had around ~2300HP, with EE and a 20q ele weakness ( which I never had, only plain non-q ) I would reduce enemy fire res by 90%, with doedre's damning and flammabbility 123% reduced fire res. It worked pretty good. Some of my flasks and gear below:



I'm especially proud of that medium flask (it is the most effective with +20 ample (max charges/used) if you only care about the side effect, not the healing), if it had a perfect perpetual mod I could use it 1 additional time for a total of 6 times per round, which was very useful in 3v3 as I could dispel my burning without worrying about running out of charges.

The build had it's "magic", things like trying to time RF so that my molten shell would go off very soon after I set myself on fire, for awesome burst damage. Another thing I noticed that the first time I used my RF in a match both me and my opponent would lag as the RF animation was loading which would almost guarantee me a free win.

I was using frenzy and flicker, frenzy for the charges so I could flicker 4 times if my opponent was trying to run while I was burning. Auras were lvl4 clarity, hatred and tempest shield. Rest of my gear was pretty bad, I had around 700 armour, and some low evasion rating.

Won't post the tree as it'll be a dead link with 0.11, but it was nothing special, start at mara, go the lower route for life and regen, skip diamond skin, pick up ele adaptation, then straight up to EE. Go for templar life and regen through the ele dmg nodes. I also choose to kill all bandits as that was more effective than helping Oak, according to my calculations.

I already started building my next character, but it's very hard to gear up ... and 0.11 also nerfed it's survivability, and buffed it's damage which is meh. Still, we'll meet in the arena again, soon-ish.

I still think this is a tier 3 3v3 build. Is the hp nerf really going to make this build undo able? If so, I am really sad man.

I have no idea what tier 3 means :P It's not the HP nerf but ele adaptation which makes me a sad panda.

shit sry I meant to put tier 1 3v3 but I hit 3 3v3 instead lmfao.

whats goin on with ele? I thought it was getting stronger?

Elemental Adaptation will get reduced from "+5 maximum resist" to "+2 maximum resist"...

Just a question to LLD's (i wont make a new thread for that :P)
How many passive skill points you have for use ? do you let you rush through all acts in cruel and merci too ?

At the moment im at 30 Skill points, just ended act 2 normal.

Would be nice if i can get an good answer so i can go on with my LLD :)

33 if u dont kill all the bandits and you do finish all the quests up until end of act 3. Dont go to cruel, you wont be able to lvl 28 pvp even if u are lvl 28 and under. 34 Skills total if u kill all the bandits.

I finished all Q's and i'm level 28 but only got 33 and i killed all bandits.. are you sure its 34 skill points ?
