please dont the league is dead as soon as poe2 launched, standard is even worse. please make players and giga farmers come back.

They'd only delay the launch of the league if they didn't have all of the content ready in time.
In which case there's really nothing optional about a delay. GGG do not offer first-party Technical Support. i can see a world where they would delay it by a week or two, having poe2 freshly released league would mean players wont come to poe1 just yet, and that would hurt the next league for sure.
