Major issue with Harvest boss phase transition

Harvest bosses have 3 life level phases. During the first 2, they cannot be damaged until after they have completed the transition to the next phase.
The major problem here is with the transition from phase 1 to phase 2 (which I'll call the totem phase, when they levitate and stand vertically, summoning other monsters), and the major offender is Namharim (the vivid/yellow boss); The blue boss occasionally displays it and the purple boss even less frequently. For the yellow boss at least, I find myself frequently (more than half of the time) having to wait at least half a minute, sometimes up to 2 minutes and very rarely even more, for the transition from phase 1 to phase 2. During this period, the boss is invulnerable and continues to fight and use special abilities when the transition should have already occurred. For lack of a better label, this is BS. Boss phases are understandable, and some (more than others) have phases in which they are supposed to be invulnerable to damage. Based on my experience with uniques/bosses in PoE, this appears to clearly not be such a situation. This isn't an "invulnerable phase" but a period of invulnerability due to the fact that the boss is failing to phase when they should. Whatever trigger is supposed to be in place for this transition is not working. Please fix it in order to remove this defect which represents an unreasonable/unfair threat, and more importantly is a significant waste of time. Harvest boss phases have been bugged for years now. Dont hold your breath for a fix.

" It's true that they have been broken for a long time...Also true that continuing to point out objectively-clear defects in game mechanics, for everyone's (including GGG's) sake, is the right thing to do (in my opinion) rather than sitting back and idly accepting the defects...and especially ones that collectively waste a ton of people's time with zero benefit to anyone. So, I appreciate the empathetic sentiment toward me to not hold out expectations for a fix, but I wholly reject any implication that anyone just leave it be because that's how it's been for a long time. In fact, I endorse pointed, strongly worded, politely emphatic bombs in the form of forum posts, regularly and ongoing, in cases specifically such as these, until the problem has been remedied. I am familiar with coding conditional events. I highly doubt that fixing this would take much time, especially for someone who is familiar with the code environment. |

My post wasnt to tell you not to post about it. Just to temper expectations since you didnt mention you knew it had been around awhile.
By all means post on about it. I try full harvest juicing every league only to give it up when this bug frustrates me enough. |

Thank goodness! I was late to adopt the Harvest strategy, and thought this was deliberate.
Super time killer. Would love to see it reduced to a fixed duration of 10 seconds or so....or done away with all together. Also annoying when they go totem phase a 2nd time. They'll come out of totem phase, still be invulnerable, dither around for a couple more minutes, and enter a 2nd totem phase. Some of my Harvest maps are taking me almost 10 minutes, due to this bug. I assume that's a bug also? |
