Servant of the Manor Merchant voice lines

Servant of the Manor Merchant voice lines trigger far too frequently when I am AFK in my hideout, especially compared to Faustus and the Man in the Box.

Is this intended behavior or a bug? If it is intentional, it feels excessive and makes it unpleasant to stay AFK in the hideout.

I really like the addition of the new merchant, but the current frequency of voice line triggers is distracting and quickly becomes annoying. It would be great if this could be adjusted.
