Putrid Cloister/The Professor gate keeping in SSF is extremely bad gameplay design

As a new SSF player, i do not understand the need to gate an important craft behind a unique map that has lower droprate than divine orbs.
What is the point of this design, other than to aggravate players and make them quit when they can't progress their character? This is not the way to keep people engaged. I get bored in trade when i can just buy everything i need, so i wanted to try SSF for fun, but this shitty design decision is annoying me to no end. And i spent a week trying to get Replica Stampede, which didn't bother me as it was not a necessary item, but the basic crafting recipes should not be gated behind something as stupid as a fake scacecity that serves no point othert han to piss people off!!! Please make the map and/or the div card fairly easy to obtain, or better yet, put ALL bench crafts on the normal atlas progression. Thank you Last bumped on May 22, 2026, 12:51:43 PM
