Protection mastery "You cannot be Hindered" does not work sometimes

I have picked the Protection Mastery near Nomadic Teaching which says You cannot be Maimed, You cannot be Hindered.

Now, I literally ALWAYS get Hindered (with an approriate debuff Icon showing it) in the new Hive Colony boss fight due to some residue ground effect (at least I think so).

I have checked Was Exh and Was Tul skills listed in the PoE wikipedia, none of them says they Hinder or leave a ground degen that hinders. But even if they do, how come thes "bypass" the Passive tree literal wording which says "CANNOT BE"??

Anyways -- bugg report or explain pls.
