Imbued automation

I'm trying to get lifetap imbued on automation, I know it can be done as there are on sale and on the poeninja build I'm following, and after checking all the red support gems at Lilly it should be a 1/3 (with arrogance and inspiration), as far as I know it's not weighted and I also got lifetap on BV first try earlier this league

I'm now 17 coin of power deep and still no lifetap, I'm starting to wonder if it's a bug? If it's not weighted it'd be a 0.1% chance to not get it after 17 tries so quite unlikely
